The Department of Justice has undergone frightening levels of change during Joe Biden’s tenure in office.
Things never before seen have gone down.
And now top FBI cop Christopher Wray has just heard four words in Congress that could mean impeachment.
The Left has long been critical of the FBI.
But now that the top law enforcement agency is doing their bidding, Democrats have defended bone-chilling violations of freedom as well as gross incompetence.
Ever since the FBI got caught spying on the Donald Trump campaign and orchestrating Russiagate, Democrats and their media allies have treated the FBI as a venerated institution beyond reproach.
A handful of Republicans are the only ones left willing to hold the FBI accountable.
“I don’t trust you”
And Rep. Mike Garcia (R-CA) told FBI Director Christopher Wray during a Congressional hearing that “I don’t trust you.”
Wray has done a lot to lose the trust of Congress and the American people.
Garcia said, “I’ll be honest with you, and this pains me to say this, but I don’t trust you. . .I don’t trust you to protect us. . .I think because of your inability to lead and also shape the policies and the DOJ and at the White House, we are now in a more precarious position than we were, I would submit, than we were on September 10th of 2001.”
Garcia’s comments were in reference to the FBI’s inaction on the southern border.
A record number of illegal aliens have crossed into the country, and the federal government has no idea who most of them are.
That creates a serious national security threat.
Misplaced focus
Instead of monitoring the millions of people flowing into the country, Wray’s FBI is concerned about right-wing domestic terrorists, not the potential terrorists coming into America.
The FBI even floated the idea of embedding agents into Catholic churches that perform the Latin mass in search of right-wing extremists.
Garcia continued, “You have been unable to change the policies driven by your leadership. . .Can I just get a simple yes or no response . . . Does the border policy make your job easier or harder, or are we safer or less safe as a result of the open border policy?”
Wray responded, “I’ve been consistent in my message externally and internally about my concerns about the threats that are from the FBI’s perspective, that emanate from the border.”
Yet nothing is being done about it.
Meanwhile, under Wray, the FBI has been deployed to surveil parents protesting at school board meetings.
