Americans have witnessed a surge in woke reprisals during Joe Biden’s first term.
The speech police commit atrocities that leave level-headed Americans fuming daily.
But this teen girl received one spine-chilling lesson for asking a question Joe Biden hates.
Silencing the truth
Illegal alien immigration into the United States has become arguably the most important issue in American politics.
Instead of doing something to stop it, Joe Biden and the Democrats have chosen to shut people up who want border security.
For example, 16-year-old Christian McGhee was suspended from his North Carolina high school for three days for using the term “illegal alien” in class.

The Carolina Journal reported that McGhee “was suspended for three days for using the term ‘illegal alien’ in class when clarifying the word ‘alien’ in a vocabulary lesson. A classmate reportedly threatened to fight Christian over his word choice, but both students and their teacher insisted the exchange was innocent, and the other student’s outrage was in jest.”
McGhee asked if the term “alien” in an assignment referred to “space aliens” or “illegal aliens without green cards.”
In response to the suspension, Christian’s mom, Leah, said, “If this was handled properly in the classroom, it could’ve easily been used as a teachable moment for everyone. . .Our family feels that suspension and a label of racism is an extreme in this case. I feel that the negligence of the administration’s decision fueled the injustice to a student who simply asked for clarification from a teacher.”
“Woke” administrators have tried to suggest that Christian’s statement was somehow racist toward Latinos.
He explained, “I wasn’t speaking of Hispanics because everyone from other countries needs green cards, and the term ‘illegal alien’ is an actual term that I hear on the news and can find in the dictionary.”
Word games
This is where the Left’s word policing enters the conversation.
They have attempted to make the term illegal alien beyond the pale, opting for “undocumented” or “migrant” or “new arrival.”
We don't use the terms illegal immigrant, unauthorized immigrant, irregular migrant, alien, an illegal, illegals or undocumented (except when quoting people or documents that use these terms). Many immigrants and migrants have some sort of documents, but not the necessary ones.

They did the same with the term “pro-life.”
Leah McGahee said on a local radio show, “We are blown away by the people who have reached out in support and to cover this story. . .We’ve prayed about it and feel like we need an attorney to help us navigate this process, as we’ve never been in a situation like this. The label of racism in today’s world is so strong that I feel like we do not need to tackle this giant on our own.”
The school’s smear job of McGahee could greatly affect his college prospects and potential athletic scholarships, as he is a track and field athlete.
People on the Right cannot cede any more linguistic ground to the Left.
