Whenever a shocking event unfolds, mainstream media outlets and government officials often focus primarily on how to frame the event to seize maximum control.

It’s usually at the detriment of the people involved and the society they claim to serve.

But now the Sydney Bishop has just lowered the boom on this shocking weaponization of government.

Bishop Emmanuel just set the record straight as this feud takes shape in the land down under

Last month, terrorists descended upon the Christ The Good Shepherd Church in the Sydney area community of Wakely, Australia.

One of the terrorists stabbed Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel while on the pulpit, inflicting lacerations on his head.

Law enforcement officials believe that the suspects were young men, as well as radical Islamists.

Fortunately, Bishop Emmanuel survived the stabbing and has already returned to the pulpit just weeks after the attack.

In his first address since the terrorist attack occurred, Bishop Emmanuel addressed the Australian government, which he accuses of covering up the truth surrounding last month’s attack.

Last Sunday, Bishop Emmanuel delivered the sermon, telling worshippers and internet viewers across the globe, “Every human being has the right to their freedom of speech and freedom of religion.”

He added, “For us to say that free speech is dangerous, that free speech cannot be possible in a democratic country, I’m yet to fathom this.”

Bishop Emmanuel then turned his focus to Australian officials, saying, “For us to say that because of this freedom of speech it is causing dramas and dilemmas therefore everything should be censored then where is democracy, where is humanity, where is integrity?”

“I will put the prawns on the barbie with Mr. Albanese and with Mr. Peter Dutton any time of the day and I’ll say to them ‘G-day mate'” the Australian Bishop added. As Bishop Emmanuel alluded to, Australian officials have worked tirelessly to censor video footage of last month’s attack from the internet and social media platforms.

Some Australian officials have claimed that allowing the video footage to circulate could stoke “xenophobic” and “Islamophobic” tensions.

These calls for censorship have set the stage for an epic showdown between lawmakers and believers of free speech.

And to the shock of many internet users, Australian officials called for the removal of the attack video for not just Australian users but for social media users all over the world.

Shortly after the attack, X owner Elon Musk made it clear that he would not remove the videos from his platform, defying the orders of some Australian officials.

One Australian lawmaker, Senator Jacqui Lambie, even went as far as to say that Elon Musk should go to jail for allowing the attack video to circulate on X.

This censorship debate in Australia demonstrates the lengths that elected officials in the West will go to

Many internet users agree that Australia’s attempt to stifle the spread of the notorious Bishop Emmanuel attack footage demonstrates a widespread censorship effort.

Not only do Australian officials wish to prevent the spread of the video with their orders, but they also want the video removed worldwide, which goes far beyond their authority.

As Elon Musk and others have pointed out, this censorship attempts to spit in the face of Western values, setting the stage for a debate that could determine how much power world governments have over moderating content on a global level.
