Joe Biden sued this company for a reason that will leave you speechless

Joe Biden’s administration has become a total train wreck.

That’s why he trails Donald Trump in the polls, despite every effort of his media pals.

Now outrage has erupted after Joe Biden got called out for suing one company for a reason that will leave you speechless

Conservative Author Christopher Caldwell argued in his book The Age of Entitlement that the civil rights law since the 1960s has been abused by the Left in ways that violate the Constitution.

For instance, any disparities between groups can be used as evidence of civil rights violations.

That’s why the Biden administration is suing the convenience store chain Sheetz.

Criminals for hire

According to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Sheetz engaged in discriminatory practices by refusing to hire people with criminal records.

Because people were not denied employment in a desirable racial proportion, the EEOC concluded that Sheetz had run afoul of civil rights law.

Fox Business reported that even though “the lawsuit does not allege that the discrimination was purposeful, it nonetheless claims that Sheetz violated the law. For example, 14.5% of Black applicants had allegedly been denied employment due to a failed background check, while fewer than 8% of white applicants were denied employment for the same reason.”

Critical race theory is not a myth

Statistics show that black people are more likely to have a criminal record, which would account for the failed background check ratio, but that does not matter; the disparity itself is proof of de facto discrimination.

This is the neo-Marxist doctrine of critical race theory (CRT) in a nutshell.

EEOC Attorney Debra Lawrence told The Associated Press, “Federal law mandates that employment practices causing a disparate impact because of race or other protected classifications must be shown by the employer to be necessary to ensure the safe and efficient performance of the particular jobs at issue. . .Even when such necessity is proven, the practice remains unlawful if there is an alternative practice available that is comparably effective in achieving the employer’s goals but causes less discriminatory effect.”

This is the folly of civil rights when misused by the Left.

Sheetz simply runs background checks on employees, but somehow, it’s racist to screen for criminals.

The notion is utterly preposterous and insulting for 85.5% of black applicants who did not have a criminal record.

Sheetz spokesman Nick Ruffner responded, “Diversity and inclusion are essential parts of who we are. We take these allegations seriously. . .We have attempted to work with the EEOC for nearly eight years to find common ground and resolve this dispute.”

Nothing is ever good enough for executive branch functionaries who have the entire federal registry at their disposal in order to attack.
