Jimmy Kimmel called Melania Trump an expectant widow two days before someone tried to kill her husband.
Jesse Watters went on live television Monday night and asked why.
The FCC is already moving — and Watters just made Disney's nightmare worse.
Jimmy Kimmel's Expectant Widow Joke and the Shooting Two Days Later
Alleged comedian Jimmy Kimmel delivered a mock Correspondents' Dinner roast on his show.
He introduced the Trumps to each other: "Oh, by the way, Melania, this is Donald. Donald, this is Melania."
Then came the widow line.
"Look at Melania, so beautiful. Mrs. Trump, you have a glow like an expectant widow."
The laugh track ran.
Forty-eight hours later, Cole Tomas Allen walked into the Washington Hilton and got off a shot at the White House Correspondents' Dinner before the Secret Service arrested him.
Melania Trump went on social media and said Kimmel's words "are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America."
Donald Trump called it "far beyond the pale" and demanded Disney fire him immediately.
Jesse Watters Said What Everyone Was Thinking
Fox News host Jesse Watters had Sage Steele on Primetime and didn't dance around it.
"Why do you think Kimmel keeps making jokes about assassinating Trump?" Watters said. "I mean, he can joke about whatever he wants. There's a lot of material."
Then the pivot.
"And about death! People getting shot! Almost shot! Why does he keep going there? It's obviously not humor! It's not even that funny!"
Steele didn't flinch. "My kids constantly remind me, 'Mom! Stop! Jokes are supposed to be funny.' They need to tell that to Jimmy Kimmel!"
Watters wasn't just reacting to one bad joke.
"He left a manifesto railing against the president," Watters said. "Stuff you hear from Democrats 24/7. The manifesto makes it clear he wasn't happy with his policies. Not fringe talk. It's what the mainstream media traffics in every day."
Allen was a Kamala Harris donor who attended anti-Trump rallies.
"He was sober minded and calculating," Watters said. "Booked the hotel in advance, tracked the president's schedule, arrived early and waited. He's not a low IQ lunatic. He's a left-wing militant."
Jimmy Kimmel Was Already Suspended Once Over Political Violence
Seven months ago, Charlie Kirk was assassinated on a college campus. Kimmel waited five days and then went on air and told his audience the "MAGA gang" was "desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them."
Watters went on air the night ABC suspended the show and said what everyone already knew.
"By that time, we all knew the shooter was a leftist in love with a trans man who scrawled 'hey, fascist' on his bullets."
Then the verdict: "Everybody knew the assassin was a leftist. That's why Kimmel has producers. Where was Kimmel's fact-checking team? Because saying MAGA shot Charlie when the FBI, the Utah governor, and even the shooter's parents were saying this guy's left wing seems like a big slip-up."
ABC suspended the show. FCC Chairman Brendan Carr threatened broadcast licenses directly — "We can do this the easy way or the hard way" — and Kimmel came back six months later joking about Melania glowing like a widow.
Kimmel’s defense was that it was a joke about "their age difference" — a "light roast" and "not, by any stretch of the definition, a call to assassination."
Why Is Jimmy Kimmel Still on ABC
Jimmy Kimmel hasn't been a comedian for a long time.
He's a left-wing political activist who uses the shield of "comedy" to say things that would get anyone else fired.
When Kirk was killed, he used his platform to blame MAGA while the family was still burying him.
When the president's wife showed up to a dinner that ended in gunfire, he joked she was already picking out black dresses.
And when he gets called out, the defense is always the same — it was a joke, lighten up.
Watters put it plainly on air.
"They get the base all hopped up, goose them up and turn them loose," Watters said. "And then when someone tries to take a shot, they'll back off for a week or two and they'll pick it right back up."
Clay Travis was in the ballroom when the shots rang out.
"The reason they call him all these things — a fascist, a dictator, Hitler, a modern-day Nazi — is not because they believe it," Travis said. "It's to give the crazy people who are listening an excuse to do what this guy did. To believe that they are heroes."
A Caltech graduate. A good family. A teacher of the month.
Jimmy Kimmel helped convince him he was a hero.
That's the question ABC needs to answer.
