Democrats are in disarray after Joe Biden stunned the nation with his awful debate.
Now a battle is underway in the Party about what happens next.

Democrats claim to support Joe Biden publicly after his bad debate
Democrats and their media allies carefully crafted a false narrative that President Joe Biden was still at the top of his game despite his age.
They would claim that the growing number of videos of his mental decline were fakes.
And that behind closed doors, Biden was running circles around everyone.
90 minutes on a debate stage against former President Donald Trump brought the whole charade crashing down.
Biden was exposed to the American people as suffering from severe mental decline after he struggled to function with a white-hot spotlight on him.
Anonymous reports from Democrat donors and politicians poured in that an effort was underway to find a replacement for him on the ticket.
But publicly, the Party elites rallied around him as the candidate.
Former President Barack Obama, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), and other top Democrats issued statements of support.
The debate was brushed off as one bad night that he could recover from.
It appeared that a potential civil war over Biden’s candidacy was diverted.
House Democrat says a debate is raging over Joe Biden’s political future
Representative Jamie Raskin (D-MD) appeared on MSNBC’s Velshi, where became the first elected Democrat to publicly state that there is an ongoing discussion in the Party about Biden’s political future.
“This is what a real political party looks like and this is what a real political party does,” Raskin admitted. “Obviously, there was a big problem with Joe Biden’s debate performance, and there is also just a tremendous reservoir of love for Joe Biden in our party.”
“So this makes it a difficult situation for everybody, but there are very honest and serious and rigorous conversations happening at every level of our party because it is a political party and we have differences in point of view,” Raskin added.
There are members of the Democrats who can read a poll and the room about the fallout from Biden’s debate performance.
“One thing I can tell you is that regardless of what President Biden decides, our party is going to be unified, and our party also needs him at the very center of our deliberations and our campaign,” Raskin added. “And so whether he’s the candidate or someone else is the candidate, he is going to be the keynote speaker at our convention. He will be the figure that we rally around to move forward, and beat the forces of authoritarianism and reaction in the country.”
The Biden campaign has vowed that the President isn’t going to drop out of the race.
But there’s an effort underway to nudge him aside behind the scenes.
And that’s going to leave the Democrat Party with a nasty internal fight this summer about Joe Biden’s candidacy.
