The federal government dangerously continues to grow in scope and scale.
And that’s exactly the way that the establishment wants it.
Now the Postal Service did something to Americans that will leave you in stunned silence.
The federal government continues to expand and take on roles it was never supposed to do.
For example, under the Obama administration, several executive branch agencies became militarized with weaponry and large ammunition stocks.
Conservatives’ mail comes under USPS’s microscopes in jaw-dropping snooping operation
Now the United States Postal Services appears to be spying on American citizens with anti-Joe Biden views.
The Washington Times reported that “the U.S. Postal Service monitored protesters across the country, snooping on Americans focused on issues involving guns and President Biden’s election…Postal inspectors tracked the actions of gun rights activists gathering in Richmond, Virginia; people preparing to demonstrate against police in Louisville, Kentucky, after an investigation into the police shooting of Breonna Taylor; and far-right groups headed to the District of Columbia after Mr. Biden’s election. Cato Institute senior fellow Patrick Eddington obtained the heavily redacted records detailing the postal inspectors’ spying from September 2020 through April 2021, including through covert social media surveillance called the Internet Covert Operations Program (iCOP). The records provide a rare glimpse into the breadth and depth of the Postal Service’s surveillance apparatus…”
The Postal Service can’t seem to deliver the mail on time consistently, but it has time to run surveillance operations on law-abiding American citizens.
This is precisely why so many Americans are fed up with the establishment.
In response to the information obtained through a FOIA request, the Postal Service responded, “The U.S. Postal Inspection Service occasionally reviews publicly available information in order to assess potential safety or security threats to Postal Service employees, facilities, operations and infrastructure.”
Inspector General admitted lawless operation went too far
However, the Postal Service Inspector General believed that USPS overstepped its bounds by running surveillance operations.
The Inspector General said in a statement, “We determined that certain proactive searches iCOP conducted using an open-source intelligence tool from February to April 2021 exceeded the Postal Inspection Service’s law enforcement authority…Furthermore, we could not corroborate whether other work analysts completed from October 2018 through June 2021 was legally authorized.”
This is just the latest example of the federal government overstepping its authority.
The USPS is tasked with delivering the mail, not running ops.
Now Americans have to be concerned with the Postal Service being part of the Deep State apparatus.
