Joe Biden is losing ground to Donald Trump in the polls.

And Ted Cruz might have ended Biden’s 2024 campaign in one devastating Senate hearing.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) has developed a reputation for savaging witnesses during Senate testimony.
And he did it again to Joe Biden’s Secretary of State Tony Blinken.
Democrats and their media allies told people that Donald Trump would get America into World War III, but it’s the Biden administration that has bungled foreign policy.
Blinken grilled
Cruz called out Blinken for Biden’s gross foreign policy failures.
He said, “You have presided over the worst foreign policy disaster of modern times. . .When Joe Biden became president, he inherited peace and prosperity in the world. We now have two simultaneous wars waging—the worst war in Europe since World War II and the worst war in the Middle East in 50 years. Both, I believe, were caused by this administration’s consistent weakness.”
The Biden administration told Ukraine that it would eventually become a member of NATO, then suggested that there might not be any repercussions if Vladimir Putin made a “minor incursion” into Ukraine.
So Biden both provoked Putin, then signaled that there might not be any military response from the West if he invaded.
It was the worst of both worlds.
The Biden administration also inserted itself into the war in Gaza.
Cruz said, “To be clear, your State Department, on the morning of October 7th, sent out a tweet telling Israel not to engage in military retaliation. I called you out at three in the morning, and you deleted that tweet. The next day, you personally, on October 8, sent a tweet saying you’d spoken with the Turkish foreign minister and Israel should not retaliate.”
After a 20-year War on Terror, Americans are tired of involving themselves in old Middle Eastern conflicts.
Cruz added, “From the very beginning, the Biden administration has consistently at every stage told Israel—and by the way, when I called your tweet out, you deleted it again—at every stage, you have been telling Israel, ‘do not kill the terrorists.’ And that has been from day one.”

Afghanistan, too
In addition to being involved in two hot wars, the Biden administration also presided over the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Biden promised that the Afghan “army” would hold off the Taliban, but it folded in fewer than 48 hours.
The Taliban was allowed to seize billions of dollars worth of advanced military technology.
The military also unnecessarily conducted the evacuation of the country at the smaller, less secure Kabul International Airport.
Thirteen service members were killed as a result.
And when their bodies were returned to America, Biden got caught checking his watch multiple times during the ceremony.
Biden’s foreign policy has been a complete fiasco.
He promised a return to normalcy during his campaign, but he brought chaos.
And the consequences around the world have been deadly.
