New York City hasn’t exactly been the proverbially shining city on a hill, especially under Mayor Eric Adams.
And a new plan may ensure it never is.
Because a whistleblower just put Eric Adam’s plan to force employees to pass CRT re-education camps under a spotlight.
The Left’s push to train American school children on Critical Race Theory (CRT) has drawn outrage from parents nationwide.
But it’s not just America’s youth that are being forced to endure government spoon-feedings that America is systemically racist and minorities are the oppressed and white people are oppressors.
The FBI, CIA and other alphabet agencies in the government are training new recruits in it – as is the U.S. military.
And anyone who objects to CRT teachings faces a very strong likelihood of being canceled.
That may explain a lot of the problems Americans are witnessing stemming from those government institutions in recent years.
The big equity apple
Apparently, New York City Mayor Eric Adams likes the framework set up by the federal government and is now copying the blueprint in Gotham.
Fox News obtained copies of training materials for Big Apple employees and found Mayor Adams is forcing every city worker to attend CRT training.
According to the Fox News report, NYC workers have until March 6 to complete the radical training.
Presumably, those who don’t complete the training will face repercussions that could potentially include termination.
Whistleblower city employee shines a light on what he believes is really behind it
“Where they were discussing equity, how we have to look at people through a particular lens, that contradicted… [the idea that] we should treat everybody equally,” a source familiar with the “racial equity” training told Fox News Digital. “I do not agree with what they want us to do as city employees. The [racial equity training] leads me to believe that they want the contracts with the city and the hiring from the city being looked at through this lens. And that’s what I think is really unfair. It goes against their [stated claims]… that everybody should be treated equally.”
Part of the training calls for further trainings – including anti-racism classes, workshops on “unconscious bias,” and the building of so-called, “safe spaces.”
They also tell attendees to just assume these problems already exist in their workplace.
“To foster equity, embrace the idea that a problem may exist,” the training states. “Become aware of systematic racism and the possible presence of racial inequity in your workplace. Understand the dominant cultural patterns of your workplace and whether they are hurting or helping your diversity, equity and inclusion goals.”
According to CriticalRace.org, CRT is an:
“Outgrowth of the European Marxist school of critical theory with an academic movement which seeks to link racism, race, and power. Systemic racism, in the eyes of critical race theorists, stems from the dominance of race in American life. Critical race theorists and anti-racist advocates argue that, because race is a predominant part of American life, racism itself has become internalized into the American conscience. It is because of this, they argue, that there have been significantly different legal and economic outcomes between different racial groups.”
Critical Race Theory (CRT) presents the idea that racial “equity” should be the aim of everything.
Equality and equity are not the same thing – equality is the societal framework to safeguard opportunities for everyone, whereas the goal of equity is to guarantee the same results.
America is the land of the former, citizens should do all they can to reject the latter.
