Supreme Court is under attack by the Left
Democrats are ramping up their attacks on the two most conservative justices on the Supreme Court, Clarence Thomas, and Samuel Alito.
A left-wing nonprofit concocted a fake story that Thomas was corrupt because he went on some vacations that were paid for by his longtime friend, wealthy Republican donor Harlow Crow.
This isn’t a violation of the Supreme Court ethics rule but it was treated as the biggest scandal in history by Democrats and their media allies.
Now the Left has turned its attention to Justice Alito over a phony controversy involving flags that is even more absurd than the fake Thomas scandal.
Alito’s wife flew the American flag upside down after she was harassed by a nasty Democrat neighbor following January 6.
The New York Times made up the claim that an upside-down American flag was a symbol used by January 6 protestors.
But that wasn’t the end of the flag controversy.
Another hit piece was run against Alito for having a Revolutionary War Appeal to Heaven flag flying outside his New Jersey vacation home.
This obscure flag that was virtually unknown was again presented without evidence to be some prominent symbol of January 6.
But this backfired when it was discovered that San Francisco city hall had one flying outside.
Jim Jordan urged to take action
There’s an organized campaign on the Left to target and delegitimize Justices Thomas and Alito.
Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) chairman Matt Schlapp and Trump’s former acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker sent a letter asking House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan and U.S. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) – the top Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee – to take action.
The letter requested they investigate the role of left-wing groups funded by globalist billionaire George Soros like the Tides Foundation and the Open Society Foundation for their role in trying to “sabotage” the Supreme Court.
“We have observed with increasing frustration as an orchestrated attack has been launched on constitutionalists on the Supreme Court,” Schlapp told the Daily Caller. “And in this critical moment Republicans in Congress need to use their authority to find out who is behind this assault on the Court.” Schlapp told the Caller before sending the letter.
The letter asked Jordan and Graham to investigate the groups to make sure they’re compliant with election and tax laws, determine if the justices are safe from threats, and provide transparency on this orchestrated campaign.
“The progressive Left and their media allies have been trying to intimidate Justice Samuel Alito by attacking his wife for merely flying a flag,” Whitaker said. “This is part of a coordinated effort to pressure Republican-appointed justices in high-profile cases. Such attacks must stop, and Congress should investigate these organizations to ensure compliance with laws and protect the integrity of the Supreme Court.”
A spokesman for Jordan’s Judiciary Committee said, “We’re on it.”
Democrats are trying to destroy the Supreme Court because they don’t have control.
