George Orwell has been transformed into less of an author and more of an oracle over the last few years.
Now a former Biden Disinformation Governance Board official revealed some shocking news about one of leftists’ favorite targets.
Because Biden’s Truth Czar just made an announcement about taking down Fox News that has viewers seeing red.
Back in April of last year, President Biden announced his biggest censorship step yet – the creation of a “Disinformation Governance Board” or as critics quickly redubbed it, “The Ministry of Truth.”
It’s a political move by President Biden straight out of George Orwell’s book, 1984.

The goal of the Board – which was mysteriously attached to the Department of Homeland Security – was to stop speech the State doesn’t approve of.
Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas claimed at the time the Disinformation Governance Board would counter so-called “misinformation.”
However, as proven time and again with COVID, yesterday’s “misinformation” is today’s fact.
The “Mary Poppins of Disinformation” wants to use your money to shut down Fox News
Just as concerning as the Board itself, was the person Biden tapped to run it – Nina Jankowicz.

Jankowitz – who previously worked for the National Democratic Institute – was a big opponent of Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter which was dominating the news cycle at the time of her appointment.
She feared the Tesla Founder’s mission to bring free speech to the Big Tech giant would lead to an influx of “disinformation,” and “hate speech.”
“I shudder to think about if free speech absolutists were taking over more platforms,” Jankowitz tweeted. “What that would look like for marginalized communities…which are already shouldering…disproportionate amounts of this abuse.”
Speaking of misinformation, Jankowitz once referred to the Hunter Biden Laptop from Hell as a “hoax from the Trump campaign.”
Of course, Twitter infamously banned the New York Post story about the Hunter laptop – which is now confirmed to be true.
The Biden Administration caved to backlash – led by Republican Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri – and put the Ministry of Truth on an indefinite pause and Jankowicz resigned from her position.
Jankowicz goes fox hunting with other people’s money
But now, Jankowicz wants to sue Fox News for defamation.
According to Jankowicz, the fall of the Ministry of Truth was the fault of Fox News using her “as a punching bag” and making “malicious and reckless false statements.”

Of course, Fox News and other conservative news outlets only reported on actual facts of Jankowicz’ radical public positions.
But that’s not stopping her from trying to censor Fox retroactively.
“Baseless claims that the Board was a nationwide, Orwellian ‘Ministry of Truth’ and I was ‘President Biden’s chief censor’ were trending on social media, even though the Board had nothing to do with arbitrating or restricting speech,” Jankowicz said. “The next day, Fox News launched its overly personalized, false, and incendiary coverage of me, mainstreaming online conspiracy theories to tens of millions of Americans.”
But Jankowicz isn’t even using her own money to take Fox News to court.
She’s launched a GoFundMe hoping to crowdsource $100,000 to go fox hunting in the legal system.
As of the time of this writing, her campaign has raised over $33,000 from some 450 donations from backers.
Because of the freedom of the press guaranteed in the First Amendment, beating a news agency for libel or slander is very difficult.
The plaintiff – in this case Jankowicz – has to prove the news organization published or aired derogatory statements, regardless of any factual accuracy, with the intent to do hard, and prove damages.
