Big Media is used to setting the political narrative in favor of Democrats, unopposed by the opposition.
However, new media, websites and podcasts are evening the playing field.
But now former President Barack Obama is wishing he’d never sicced his attack dogs on these top conservative stars.
These days, Democrats, Big Tech and Big Media are obsessed with so-called “misinformation,” and disinformation.”
Of course, these terms are dog whistles for opinions that don’t go along with the far-Left narrative.
These codes for silencing conservative speech didn’t start during the Biden administration.
And they didn’t even start as an attempt to censor then-President Trump.
The push started in earnest during Barack Obama’s time in the Oval Office.
The Obama administration used the term to deflect any criticism about any of its many scandals.

From Fast & Furious, to the IRS targeting conservative non-profits, to Benghazi – if Republicans were saying anything negative about the Obama White House, rest assured it had to be either racism or “mis” or “dis” information.
And Obama has continued to beat the censorship drum since leaving office.
In April 2022, he gave a speech where he cited pandemic as evidence that misinformation is killing people.
“One in five Americans is still willing to put themselves at risk and put their families at risk, rather than get vaccinated,” Obama said. “People are dying because of misinformation.”
And the de facto leader of the Democrat party is still pushing to silence conservative under the guise of “misinformation” today.
The New York Times teamed up with the Brookings Institute to put out a list of the podcasts that are the worst offenders of passing what they consider to be “misinformation.”
The Brookings Institute is run by Amy Liu as the far-Left think tank’s interim President.
Previously, Liu was a top adviser to the President during the Obama administration.
The Times and Brookings Institute list is completely one-sided, focusing almost entirely on right-of-center podcasts.
It includes some of the biggest voices in conservative circles, including: Steve Bannon’s War Room, Clay Travis and Buck Sexton – who took over Rush Limbaugh’s time slot after the legend of the airwaves passed away – Mark Levin, Louder with Crowder, Charlie Kirk and more.
Brookings and the Times are calling for the programs to be censored.
For their part, Travis and Sexton reached out to Liu and invited her on their show to discuss the “report,”.
“So, the Brookings Institute labeled Clay and Buck the third biggest spreader of misinformation in radio,” Travis tweeted. “That ‘report’ then was featured on the front page of the New York Times business section with zero explanatory data. We emailed & invited the lead author — or any other rep from Brookings — to come on our show this week on a day of their choosing to explain the results and share their allegations of misinformation with our audience. Guess what happened? The Brookings Institute just emailed and said they are ‘not available for an interview.’ Several thoughts coming.”

Travis went on to say the research and article were nothing more than a hit piece and propaganda.
“All it takes is a tiny iota of courage and these Left-wing propaganda machines run and hide,” Travis continued. “We need far more aggressive debate and challenging of left-wing bullsh-t in this country, not far less.”
According to Travis, everyone that works for Brookings, including Liu, and anyone who donates to the radically Left think tank should be ashamed of themselves.
