Throughout the halls of power, in every corner of the globe, leftists have declared the spread of so-called “misinformation” the most significant threat to world peace.
Even more concerning, these bureaucrats have devised methods like “fact-checking” and “de-platforming” to silence anybody who disagrees with them.
The United Nations, for example, recently pushed to advance what it calls the Code of Conduct for Information Integrity on Digital Platforms.
This so-called Digital Integrity Code for digital platforms calls for the censorship of content that the U.N. deems as “disinformation, misinformation, and hate.”
U.N. Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications Melissa Fleming has led the charge for this controversial initiative.
Fleming has recently identified A.I. as a profound threat, lamenting A.I.’s ability to perpetuate so-called “misinformation” at a recent speech at Boston University.
Fleming claimed, “One of our biggest worries is the ease with which new technologies can help spread misinformation easier and cheaper, and that this content can be produced at scale and far more easily personalized and targeted.”
However, before making these shocking claims, Fleming gushed over A.I.’s ability to shape public narratives in her favor over topics such as vaccines, climate change, and feminism.
On the topic of vaccines, Fleming has warned about the spike of so-called “misinformation” since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020 without specifying the details surrounding such “misinformation.”
According to Fleming, so-called vaccine “misinformation” popped up for no real legitimate reason.
Fleming then focused on Elon Musk, saying, “Since Elon Musk took over X, all of the climate deniers are back, and (the platform) has become a space for all kinds of climate disinformation.”
She added, “Here is a connection that people in the anti-vaccine sphere are now shifting to the climate change denial sphere.”
In a nutshell, Melissa Fleming believes A.I. can do wonders when it comes to advancing her political agenda.
But as soon as an A.I. promotes a different agenda, something must be done urgently to stop it.

Countless examples have emerged over the last four years of various governments using their authority to identify and silence internet users for straying from the radical agenda of the Left.
Many fear that the U.N.’s latest push to target so-called “misinformation” will only throw fuel on the fire when it comes to the many attacks on free speech all over the world.
