Regular Americans are getting fed up with outrageous excuses they see the Left using to toss out societal norms.

Democrats and their media pals’ panic of the day bombardments only seem to grow worse.

But all hell broke loose when Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson made this bone-chilling comment about the Constitution.

The Left and the Right have wildly different theories about the Supreme Court.

Conservatives generally believe that the high court is supposed to interpret the Constitution as written.

Liberals believe the Constitution is a “living document” that should be interpreted in whatever way is politically expedient.

But hardcore leftists do not believe in the Constitution at all.

Leftists against the Constitution

For example, far-left legal analyst Elie Mystal called the Constitution “trash” during an appearance on The View.

And Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson has an equally chilling perspective on the Constitution.

During arguments involving a case over social media censorship, Just Jackson was dumbfounded by the concept of the First Amendment.

Jackson said to Louisiana Solicitor General Benjamin Aguiñaga, “My biggest concern is that your view has the First Amendment hamstringing the government in significant ways. . .in the most important time periods. What would you have the government do? I’ve heard you say a couple of times that the government can post its own speech, but in my hypothetical, ‘Kids, this is not safe, don’t do it,’ is not gonna get it done.”

The entire point of the First Amendment is to hamstring the government.

But Brown is a leftist who does not believe in checks on the “woke” religion of Progressivism.

Justice Jackson continued, “And so, I guess some might say that the government actually has a duty to take steps to protect the citizens of this country, and you seem to be suggesting that that duty can not manifest itself in the government encouraging or even pressuring platforms to take down harmful information. I’m really worried about that, because you’ve got the First Amendment operating in an environment of threatening circumstances from the government’s perspective and you’re saying that the government can’t interact with the source of those problems.”

How many in the Left’s ranks think

Jackson’s comments offer a disturbing preview into the mind of the Left.

They believe that the First Amendment—and the Constitution more broadly—is an impediment to their agenda.

Perhaps Jackson should reread the First Amendment.

It states, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”

It’s unnerving to think how much damage the Democrats could do if five Ketanji Brown Jacksons sat on the Supreme Court.
