Walmart is flirting with disaster with this “woke” ad campaign

Retail stores are in flux.

Bidenomics has made people think twice about their discretionary spending habits.

Now Walmart is flirting with disaster with this “woke” ad campaign.

Walmart signaled trouble in Joe Biden’s economy when it announced that it was slashing corporate jobs.

When the largest employer in the country is cutting jobs, that suggests problems could be afoot.

Now Walmart is causing another stir for a completely different reason.

Walmart Pride

The retail giant is pushing a promotion for the upcoming Pride Month in June.


In 2022, Pride Month celebrations were over the top.

However, the Left chose to scale back in 2023 amid the Bud Light controversy.

The beer brand entered into a sponsorship deal with social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney, a biological male pretending to be a girl, and it killed Bud Light’s sales.

Despite a concerted effort to market to a young male audience, sales have not rebounded.

Bud Light may never reclaim its title as the best-selling beer in America.

The backlash to Mulvaney served a warning sign that people were not on board with radical gender theory being shoved in their faces.

Around the time of the Mulvaney backlash, big-box store Target caught flak for promoting “woke” nonsense aimed at children.

Promoting Satanism

Target had advertisements for transgender swimwear, and even sold paraphernalia that said, “Satan respects pronouns.”

In response to the Satanic merchandise, the designer wrote on social media, “He means to you what you need him to mean. So for me, Satan is hope, compassion, equality, and love. So, naturally, Satan respects pronouns. He loves all LGBT+ people. I went with a variation of Baphomet for this design, a deity who themself is a mixture of genders, beings, ideas, and existences. They reject binary stereotypes and expectations. Perfect.”

Customers were outraged, and Target got the message.

A Target insider told Fox News in May 2023, “We were given 36 hours, told to take all of our Pride stuff, the entire section, and move it into a section that’s a third the size. From the front of the store to the back of the store, you can’t have anything on mannequins and no large signage…We call our customers ‘guests,’ there is outrage on their part. This year, it is just exponentially more than any other year. . .I think given the current situation with Bud Light, the company is terrified of a Bud Light situation.”

People were not excited to see far-left indoctrination at the store.

Apparently, Walmart is dipping its toe in the water in advance of Pride Month 2024.

But if last year was any indication, shoppers are not interested in having 30 days of propaganda presented to them.

Meanwhile, Walmart is also dealing with rampant theft, which is why some stores are getting rid of their self-checkout lanes.

A Walmart spokesperson said in a statement, “We’ve decided to remove self-checkout lanes and replace them with staffed lanes at select locations. . .These decisions were based on several factors, including feedback from associates and customers, shopping patterns and business needs in the area. We believe the changes will improve the in-store shopping experience and give our associates the chance to provide more personalized and efficient service.”

Pride Month hasn’t even begun, and Walmart is already causing a stir.
