Biden's Secret Service nearly got President Trump killed at Butler.
Now one of Biden’s agents just got arrested for something that has nothing to do with protecting anyone.
What this agent was doing on the side is something no one expected from a man carrying a federal badge.
Secret Service Agent Marquez Pinder Charged With Attempted Manslaughter in Miami Fraternity Hazing
Marquez Christopher Pinder, 29, is a Secret Service agent based in Miami.
He was also serving as "dean of pledges" for an alumni chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity.
According to an arrest warrant filed by Sweetwater police and Miami-Dade County Sheriff's investigators, Pinder ran hazing sessions beginning April 1, 2026, at an apartment in Sweetwater.
It did not stop for four days.
Pinder and two co-defendants – Jared Lamar James, 26, and Elijah Delano Dyous, 29 – beat pledges with canes and paddles over multiple nights, according to prosecutors.
The beatings were triggered when pledges failed to correctly answer questions about the fraternity.
One victim was a graduate law student at the University of Miami.
That victim suffered kidney failure and required surgery.
A second victim was a Miami-Dade Fire Rescue employee.
Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle announced the charges: two counts of attempted manslaughter with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon causing great bodily harm, and hazing with a deadly weapon.
Pinder appeared before Circuit Court Judge Mindy Glazer, who set his bond at $75,000 and ordered him placed on house arrest with a GPS monitor.
The Secret Service confirmed Pinder has been on administrative leave since the agency was first notified.
Secret Service Agent Arrested for Fifth Time in 2026 as Scandal List Grows
RealClearPolitics reported that Pinder's arrest is the fifth time in 2026 that a Secret Service agent or Uniformed Division officer has faced criminal charges.
In July, senior Secret Service agent Kenneth Premo, 50, was arrested in Virginia on charges of driving while impaired, assault on a law enforcement officer, and sexual battery.
In May, Uniformed Division officer John Spillman was arrested in Miami after police found him in a hotel hallway near the airport – naked and in public view.
In March, Uniformed Division officer Tristan Hale faced charges for sending sexually explicit messages and child sexual abuse material to a minor in Pennsylvania.
Earlier this year, a Secret Service trainee was caught using a hidden camera to spy on his fellow agent-in-training roommate – including in the bathroom.
A member of Vice President JD Vance's detail was placed under investigation for leaking sensitive security information to the press.
Secret Service DEI Hiring Under Biden Produced This Roster
Pinder joined the Secret Service in September 2023 – squarely inside the Biden administration's DEI-driven hiring push.
A Fox News contributor who served as a Secret Service supervisor argued in April that the agency's collapse is the direct result of woke DEI practices that Biden's team used to replace merit-based hiring standards.
A 26-year Secret Service veteran alleged he was passed over for promotion in favor of a female candidate ranked in the bottom 25% of the applicant pool – while he ranked in the top 11%.
The Washington Examiner reported in May that Secret Service Director Sean Curran faces internal criticism for not moving fast enough to purge the DEI policies that took root during the Obama era.
Biden-era DEI hiring had "added another layer of priorities that complicated the agency's mission-critical work," according to interviews with more than a dozen current and former Secret Service agents.
Applications to join the Secret Service surged 200% after Trump's inauguration and the elimination of DEI hiring criteria – from 7,000 in early 2024 to over 22,000 in the same window of 2025, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
America wants to serve in a merit-based Secret Service.
Biden's version produced the agent under investigation for leaking Vance's security detail, the officer charged with distributing child sexual abuse material, and now the "dean of pledges" who put a law student in the hospital with destroyed kidneys.
Director Curran inherited this roster and Congress is watching to see what he does with it.
