Megyn Kelly got her hands on Anthony Fauci's private diary and read it on air.
What she found inside explains why CNN anchors never asked Fauci a hard question.
One entry about a live interview proves the whole pandemic press corps was a fraud.
Fauci Diary Reveals He Fed Jake Tapper CNN Interview Questions During COVID Lockdowns
Senator Rand Paul released the diary ahead of Fauci's July 29 testimony, and Kelly went through it on air entry by entry.
A July 26, 2020 entry is the most damning. Fauci was watching Trump's assistant secretary for health get interviewed on CNN's State of the Union when he fed Jake Tapper questions to use against the official.
"I gave Jake some questions to ask him," Fauci recorded in his diary.
Tapper asked them.
After the interview, Fauci and Tapper were mocking Fox News host Laura Ingraham together in the same diary entry.
Kelly's reaction was immediate: "This is what a sad little pathetic man he is."
The dinners explain how the friendship started.
Fauci wrote of visiting the Tappers' Washington home and labeled the evening "Friendship building."
Millions of Americans were locked in their homes under Fauci's pandemic orders while he ate dinner at Jake Tapper's house.
After one CNN interview, Tapper privately reached out to make sure the appearance had not caused Fauci "any problems."
Kelly's answer was blunt: a journalist who calls his subject after an interview to confirm he didn't embarrass him is not a journalist.
He is protecting his access.
His source is running him.
A separate entry records Tapper privately sharing his view that Trump was "totally nuts" – the personal opinion of the man simultaneously covering the Trump administration as a neutral reporter.
Fauci Diary Shows Dana Bash Texted Anti-Republican Attacks While Hosting Him on CNN
Kelly kept reading, and the Dana Bash entries were just as damning.
The texts started after Fauci's confrontation with Rep. Jim Jordan at a congressional hearing.
Bash told him he was "a better man than I."
She followed up with a Vanity Fair headline mocking Jordan's performance at the same hearing.
Wolf Blitzer – relayed through Bash – told Fauci privately that no one would have blamed him for telling Jordan exactly where to go.
Those anchors told their audiences every night that Jim Jordan and Rand Paul were conspiracy theorists for questioning Anthony Fauci.
They were secretly texting him encouragement and Republican attack lines the entire time – booking him as a guest on their own programs as though none of it was happening.
Kelly had a question: who writes down every text they receive from famous television anchors just to keep count of how many of them are rooting for them?
Fauci did.
He logged Bash's texts word for word and recorded Blitzer's private jokes.
Normal people don't behave that way unless they are users, Kelly said.
Fauci was running a protection racket disguised as journalism, and the diary documents every transaction.
None of Tapper, Bash, or Blitzer have said a word publicly since the diary's release.
Rand Paul Has Fauci Under Oath on July 29 and the Diary Just Put Perjury on the Table
Fauci faces Rand Paul under subpoena on July 29, and the diary just handed Paul the most devastating hearing roadmap in years.
Biden's preemptive pardon covered any federal offenses Fauci may have committed between 2014 and 2025.
It does not protect him from new perjury charges if he lies to Congress under oath at the hearing.
Just the News confirms that because the pardon eliminated any realistic federal prosecution threat, Fauci cannot invoke the Fifth Amendment – he has to answer every question Rand Paul puts to him.
Tulsi Gabbard's declassified documents already proved Fauci funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology and then lied about it to Congress under oath.
The diary proves he was working CNN anchors like campaign surrogates during the same period he was lying to Congress about gain-of-function research.
Rand Paul has been right about Anthony Fauci for six years.
America finds out exactly how much worse it gets on July 29.
