In California, a woman just pleaded guilty to cruising Skid Row and paying homeless people $2 to register to vote.
That kind of operation doesn't stay in blue states.
Kash Patel's FBI just raided an Ohio voter registration group bankrolled by George Soros – and Democrats are screaming loud enough to tell you exactly what they're afraid of.
Ohio Organizing Collaborative Has a Voter Registration Fraud Conviction on Its Record
The FBI descended on the Ohio Organizing Collaborative's Cleveland headquarters Thursday morning.
Agents spent hours questioning staff, seized laptops and electronic devices, and spread across the state – knocking on doors in Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati – as part of an ongoing Justice Department fraud investigation.
Federal agents don't get search warrants on a hunch.
A judge reviewed the FBI's evidence and concluded probable cause of criminal activity existed before signing off. That's not a witch hunt. That's the legal standard.
The Ohio Organizing Collaborative calls itself a nonpartisan voter registration nonprofit. It's a Democrat-aligned organizing machine embedded in Ohio's left-wing political infrastructure – funded by a network of dark money that reads like a donor list for every radical cause of the last decade.
IRS tax records show the group's backers include the Tides Foundation, the Open Society Policy Center, and the Foundation to Promote Open Society – both tied to George Soros – along with the Ford Foundation, New Venture Fund, America Votes, and the Sixteen Thirty Fund.
The Gund Foundation alone pumped roughly $800,000 into the group between 2021 and 2024.
That's a lot of money for a "grassroots" operation.
The Ballot Harvesting Pattern Across Ohio That Triggered 20 County Investigations
The OOC's fraud history didn't start Thursday.
In 2017, paid canvasser Rebecca Hammonds pleaded guilty to multiple counts of falsely registering voters and forging signatures on registration forms. She drew six months in jail.
Some of those fraudulent registrations were submitted in the names of dead people.
The Ohio Organizing Collaborative kept operating.
A separate Democrat-aligned group called Black Fork Strategies – which bragged about registering more than 125,000 voters in Ohio since 2018 – drew its own fraud investigation after Hamilton County election officials flagged registrations where every identifying item mismatched DMV records.
One registration came in under the name "Henry Kissinger."
A single canvasser submitted a stack of registrations roughly an inch thick that appeared to share the same handwriting throughout.
"This is fraud. This is outright fraudulent behavior," Hamilton County Board of Elections member Alex Triantafilou said at the time.
Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose's office launched investigations in 20 counties.
Black Fork Strategies and the Ohio Organizing Collaborative operated in the same swing-state ecosystem, targeting the same precincts, funded by overlapping donor networks.
DOJ Election Integrity Raids Have Now Hit Georgia Michigan Wisconsin and Ohio
The screaming from Democrats started fast.
OOC board member Prentiss Haney called the raid "a full-out assault" and compared federal agents executing legal search warrants to the violence of Selma in the 1960s.
Rep. Shontel Brown called it "an unprecedented attack on democracy" and demanded the raids stop immediately.
What neither of them mentioned: a federal judge signed every one of those warrants.
When Democrats compare lawful fraud investigations to civil rights atrocities, they're not defending democracy. They're protecting infrastructure.
Ohio has a critical Senate race this year. The 2026 midterms are five months out. The same dark-money machine that bankrolled the failed 2024 Ohio redistricting amendment is now funding the group under federal investigation.
Trump's DOJ has been methodical. The FBI seized 2020 election ballots from Fulton County, Georgia and Maricopa County, Arizona.
It pulled 2024 election records from Michigan's Wayne County. It questioned election workers in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. It sued at least 30 states demanding voter data to cross-check citizenship through a DHS program.
Democrats fought every single step.
They fought the data requests. They fought the Georgia seizures. They're fighting the Ohio raid now. The people most invested in stopping election integrity investigations are the people who built the organizations currently under investigation.
The Ohio Organizing Collaborative had nine years to clean house after a canvasser got caught registering dead people.
Kash Patel's FBI showed up in Cleveland Thursday to find out whether any of it is connected.
Democrats already know the answer. That's why they're this loud.
