Barack Obama's former staffers have been meeting in secret with Democrat governors since April.
Laura Ingraham aired recordings of those meetings this week and laid out what those officials have been planning.
The plan she exposed does not start on election night – it is already in motion.
DataRepublican Found the Recordings of the Insurrection Act Trap Being Planned
Jennica Pounds – the conservative data analyst known online as DataRepublican and whose AI tools helped drive Elon Musk's DOGE spending cuts – released what she's calling "The Democracy Files" last week.
The archive contains thousands of transcripts and hundreds of recordings from strategy meetings between former government officials and far-left organizing groups.
Democratic Socialists of America serve as what the recordings call "foot soldiers" – flooding federal law enforcement with constant confrontations engineered to cross a single threshold.
That threshold is provoking President Trump into invoking the Insurrection Act.
Once Trump deploys military forces to restore order, a coordinated press campaign launches immediately – flooding social media with allegations of military abuse designed to convince Americans their federal government has lost its legitimacy.
Then Democrat governors step in.
Laura Ingraham called it "their dream" on air – blue state governors who "will unite to try to override federal authority, take over federal functions, and eventually even rewrite our Constitution or just dissolve it altogether."
Behind all of it is the United Democracy Alliance – what DataRepublican identifies as the "control plane" coordinating 50501, Indivisible, and DSA-aligned groups across the country.
Former Obama staffers, former Biden officials, and former USAID employees are all in these recordings.
The plan has a specific trigger: Democrats winning both chambers of Congress Tuesday night. According to DataRepublican's findings, the DSA foot soldiers move into position the moment those results come in, and the sequence begins playing out in 2027.
"These conversations, this playbook, is real," Ingraham told viewers on The Ingraham Angle this week.
Then walked through that sequence: massive street mobilization forces Trump to invoke the Insurrection Act, activists flood the media with military abuse claims, every network amplifies the footage, and blue state governors use the chaos to challenge federal authority and dissolve the republic.
She turned to Sen. Eric Schmitt of Missouri and told him: "They have that plot cooking."

Democrat Governors Were Being Briefed on the Doomsday Scenario as Early as April
The most damning recording in the archive is dated April 2026.
Former USAID staffer Danielle Reiff and her colleague Paul Zeitz had already secured a meeting with an organization called Governors Safeguarding Democracy – a forum that convenes sitting Democrat governors – to present their "emergency scenario planning" work.
Reiff reported back on the recording that the governors asked them to bring in outside voices to walk Democratic governors through "the doomsday scenario" and help them think through their response options.
She described that access as "a huge breakthrough for us."
The briefing was not theoretical. The recordings describe governors being walked through scenarios in which they refuse cooperation with federal authorities, declare themselves the legitimate governing voice of their states, and use the resulting crisis to build a provisional power structure that bypasses Washington entirely.
When Ingraham aired Reiff on the goal, Reiff described it as needing to "reform our legal frameworks" to achieve "deeper democracy."
Ingraham told viewers that Reiff "makes it sound like utopia."
Every movement that has ever dismantled a constitutional order called it reform too – it is a power grab in bureaucratic clothing.
Why the DSA Chose the Insurrection Act as Its Weapon Against Trump
Activists used this same strategy to remove Georgia's president in 2003 and topple Ukrainian leadership in 2004 – manufacture a confrontation, build a legitimacy crisis around the government's lawful response, and use outside organizing to hand power to someone waiting in the wings.
Choosing the Insurrection Act as the trigger is not an accident – it gives Democrat governors the legal-sounding justification they need to declare Washington illegitimate and step into the vacuum, and the press campaign to make that case is already organized.
Trump told TIME magazine in October that he has never invoked the Insurrection Act but could, adding that a lot of people think he should use it.
The Left built its entire plan around a president doing exactly what the law allows him to do.
Seven months of preparation are already behind them – the only thing they are waiting on is Tuesday night.
