Now the same party that marched on justices' homes has a new complaint about judicial intimidation.
Two Obama judges just showed exactly how far that argument goes.
The Activist Judges Blocking Trump Deportations Named by DHS
DHS General Counsel James Percival posted a thread on X last week titled "Worst of the Worst, District Judge Edition."
He called out the Democrat-appointed judges torching Trump's immigration enforcement one ruling at a time.
Clinton-appointed Judge Matthew Kennelly in Illinois blocked the removal of Burmese and Somali immigrants while litigation dragged on – even after the Supreme Court had already ruled on Temporary Protected Status four times against him.
Obama-appointed Judge Paula Xinis in Maryland is the reason Kilmar Abrego Garcia – the Salvadoran illegal alien celebrated by Democrats – is still inside the United States.
Biden-appointed Judge Hernan Vera in Los Angeles called violent anti-ICE agitators "legal observers" while tying the hands of the agents trying to enforce the law.
Percival told Fox News Digital the posts were designed to educate the public – not threaten anyone – and that a handful of judges are acting in "open defiance" of the Supreme Court.
DHS backed him up in a statement: "Facts aren't attacks."
Judges Named on Worst of the Worst List Run to Soros-Funded Podcast
District Judges Esther Salas and Beth Bloom skipped the press conference and went straight to the Legal AF podcast – a production of the MeidasTouch Network, funded by George Soros – to demand Percival take the list down.
Salas told the audience Percival was "intimidating any future judge" by saying, in her words, "You wanna go on the Worst of the Worst list next week, judge?"
Bloom called the thread a "Wanted sign" and said the posts were "designed for one purpose and one purpose only" – to incite harm.
Salas went further. She compared Percival directly to the man who murdered her son – a disgruntled attorney who posed as a FedEx delivery person, showed up at her home in 2020, and shot her 20-year-old boy to death.
In her telling, a DHS lawyer posting judicial decisions on X is equivalent to an assassin.
At no point in his posts did Percival threaten anyone. He summarized rulings, named the presidents who appointed each judge, and documented where those decisions contradicted the Supreme Court — which is the most basic form of public accountability.
George Soros Funded the Podcast Where Federal Judges Attacked DHS
Legal AF isn't just any podcast. It runs on the MeidasTouch Network – born as an anti-Trump PAC in 2020 by the Meiselas brothers and since rebranded as a left-wing media empire.
In April 2026, Soros Fund Management led a funding round into MeidasTouch Network. The terms were not disclosed.
Soros has built a media portfolio that includes a controlling stake in Audacy and an investment in Crooked Media – the podcast network founded by former Obama staffers.
MeidasTouch claims full "editorial control" remains with the founders. Soros claimed the same thing about every other outlet he funded.
Two sitting federal judges chose this platform – Soros-backed, Democrat-aligned, built from a partisan PAC – to accuse a Trump administration official of dangerous rhetoric, and apparently saw nothing wrong with that.
Schumer Threatened Justices by Name and Democrats Called It Free Speech
In March 2020, Chuck Schumer stood at a rally outside the Supreme Court and looked up at the building.
"I want to tell you, Gorsuch. I want to tell you, Kavanaugh. You have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price. You won't know what hit you."
Chief Justice John Roberts called those words "not only inappropriate" but "dangerous."
Schumer apologized the next day – after 14 Republican senators moved to censure him.
Two years later, an armed man showed up at Kavanaugh's home. The would-be assassin has since been sentenced to a light term by a Biden-appointed judge.
These same Democrats spent years targeting conservative justices by name, marched to their homes, and leaked the Dobbs draft to manufacture death threats. Now they're calling a list of judicial decisions a "target list."
A judge's decisions are public record. Naming a ruling and explaining why it contradicts the Supreme Court is not intimidation.
What Schumer did in 2020 – facing justices directly and warning of consequences – is what intimidation looks like.
Percival posted facts. The Left invented a crisis.
Activist Judges Are Running Out the Clock on Trump Immigration Enforcement
The pattern Percival documented is real. Democrat-appointed judges have been running interference on Trump's immigration enforcement since day one of the second term – blocking deportations and redefining violent protesters as protected observers.
The Supreme Court has reversed them repeatedly.
They are judges substituting their politics for binding precedent, and Percival had the receipts to prove it.
When the Trump administration named them, they ran to a Soros-funded podcast to claim victim status — which is all anyone needs to know about which side of this fight is operating in good faith and which one is content to let criminals walk free.
