New Jersey just confirmed 6,600 illegal aliens registered to vote and 400 of them cast ballots in a federal election.
Sunny Hostin went on national television to explain why she still opposes the law that would stop it from happening again.
And she made a fool of herself on live television – and her own co-hosts had to correct her in front of the cameras.
Hostin Got the Voter ID Numbers Wrong and Her Own Co-Hosts Called Her Out
The harpies of The View debated the SAVE America Act – the bill requiring proof of citizenship to register and photo ID to vote in federal elections.
Co-host Sunny Hostin took the floor like she had the facts locked down.
Then she told her audience she believed only "about five states" require voters to show identification at the polls.
The actual number: 26 states require photo ID, with 12 more requiring non-photo identification – a total of 33 states with some form of voter ID law on the books as of 2026.
Ana Navarro, her own co-host, lives in Florida and told Hostin to her face that voter ID there is "a non-issue."
Hostin conceded only the state count and held every other position.

Hostin Compared Voter ID to Jim Crow After Admitting Illegal Aliens Voted in New Jersey
After being corrected on the state count, Hostin doubled down with the race card.
"If you know your history," she said, "it reminds me of having to count jelly beans in a jar."
That comparison – voter ID to the deliberate, tests used to block black Americans from the polls under Jim Crow – drew applause from the studio audience.
Hostin had opened the segment by acknowledging the New Jersey DMV snafu herself: thousands of illegal aliens on the voter rolls, hundreds of illegal ballots cast in a federal election.
She called the whole thing "problematic." Then she spent the next several minutes arguing that requiring ID to prevent a repeat of it was racist.
That is the logic The View serves its audience every weekday morning.
What the SAVE America Act Actually Does
The Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act requires proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote in federal elections and photo ID to cast a ballot.
The legislation passed the House 218-213 in February 2026 and moved to the Senate, where it needs 60 votes to clear a filibuster.
Senators Cornyn, Mike Lee, and Chip Roy introduced the bill after the Biden years left the country with an estimated ten million illegal aliens who, in many states, can obtain driver's licenses and qualify for benefits that create pathways to fraudulent voter registration.
The House set aside $10 billion in its July 2026 budget resolution to incentivize states that meet citizenship verification standards.
This is the law Hostin compared to forcing black voters to guess how many jelly beans were in a jar.
New Jersey Confirmed 6600 Illegal Aliens on the Voter Rolls and 400 Cast Ballots
New Jersey's Democrat Governor Mikie Sherrill admitted her state's DMV system allowed illegal aliens to register to vote – and 400 of them voted in a federal election.
Nineteen House Republicans launched a formal inquiry into how it happened and demanded answers from Sherrill's office.
Democrats have been running this playbook for decades – admit there's a problem, then label every fix racist. Hostin performed it in front of a studio audience that applauded on cue.
The SAVE America Act is moving forward. Midterm elections are four months away. Democrats need every vote they can get – including ones that shouldn't be counted.
