FBI caught lying to help Kamala Harris’ Presidential campaign
Crime has surged across the country after Democrats’ full-on embrace of lawlessness in the summer of 2020 after George Floyd died.
Soft-on-crime policies by Democrats created a crime wave during the Biden-Harris administration.
Crime is an issue in an election year for Vice President Kamala Harris so the system went to work to protect.
Former President Donald Trump was hit with a false “fact-check” by ABC News moderator David Muir during the September Presidential debate.
“Crime here is up and through the roof. Despite the fraudulent statements that they made,” Trump declared. “Crime in this country is through the roof. And we have a new form of crime. It’s called migrant crime. And it’s happening at levels that nobody thought possible.”
Muir jumped in to save Kamala by falsely claiming this wasn’t true.
“President Trump, as you know, the FBI says overall violent crime is coming down in this country,” Muir claimed.
Kamala and her public relations team in the media claim that crime is at a 50-year low.
But the FBI quietly confirmed that Trump is right according to a new report from RealClearInvestigations.
FBI officials are cooking the books with their crime statistics to help the Biden-Harris administrations.
FBI changes its crime data to show an increase
The FBI Uniform Crime Report (UCR) claimed that violent crime decreased by 2.1% from 2021 to 2022.
RealClearInvestigations found that the FBI revised the UCR recently to show that violent crime increased by 4.5% from 2021 to 2022.
The FBI quietly made the change and the only way to discover it was to download crime data and compare the old data to the new.
No explanation was given for why the change was made nor did the FBI do anything to bring attention to it.
College of William & Mary crime researcher Carl Moody told RealClearInvestigations that a major revision like this raises serious concerns about the FBI’s crime data.
“I have checked the data on total violent crime from 2004 to 2022,” Moody said. “There were no revisions from 2004 to 2015, and from 2016 to 2020, there were small changes of less than one percentage point. The huge changes in 2021 and 2022, especially without an explanation, make it difficult to trust the FBI data.”
The FBI likely hoped that no one would notice the change until after the election.
Former Bureau of Justice statistics chief Jeffrey Anderson said when he was working at the Justice Department, he would have brought attention to a change this dramatic.
“We definitely would have highlighted in a press release or a report the 6.6% change recorded for 2022, which moved the numbers from a drop to a rise in violent crime,” Anderson said.
Cooking the books to make statistics look better has become a staple of the Biden-Harris administration.
The jobs numbers have been revised downward virtually every month after the press reported the initial figure.
