Former First Lady Melania Trump has kept a low profile during this Presidential run by her husband.
She’s releasing a memoir titled Melania where she opens up about her life.
The former First Lady sat down for a wide-ranging interview with Fox & Friends co-host Ainsley Earhardt.
Earhardt asked her about a video that she released on social media stating there was “more to the story” about the first assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.
“You know, it’s interesting how quiet and everything became all of the mainstream media,” Melania said. “There were few days, reporting about July 13th event and everything then became quiet.”
The Trump assassination story should have been one of the biggest stories in years but it quickly disappeared from the media’s radar.
“So I had a lot of questions. What’s going on?” Melania asked. “It’s this is not normal.”
Melania laid into the media for the vicious smear campaign it’s running in conjunction with the Democrat Party against her husband.
“And is it really shocking that all this egregious violence goes against my husband? Especially that we hear the leaders from the opposition party and mainstream media branding him as a ‘threat to democracy,’ calling him vile names,” Melania said.
“They [are] only fueling a toxic atmosphere and giving power [to] all of these people that want to do harm to him,” Melania continued. “This needs to stop. This needs to stop. The country needs to unite.”
Would-be Trump assassin used MSNBC talking points
Democrats and their media allies tried to blame Trump’s rhetoric for the second assassination attempt against him at his golf club in Florida.
But the gunman parroted a line that was popularized by journalists and Democrat politicians.
58-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh was arrested after trying to camp out at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida with a scoped rifle waiting for the former President.
Routh made 19 political contributions to Democrats since 2019 and was a supporter of Vice President Kamala Harris.
He parroted the big lie from Democrats and the media that “democracy was on the line” in the election.
President Joe Biden made the focus of his campaign before he dropped out calling Trump a threat to democracy and a would-be dictator.
The Left dehumanized Trump after running a nonstop smear campaign against him for years.
Madmen like Routh get whipped into a frenzy after hearing the country is going to end if Trump is elected again.
But the former President is just the latest victim of the Left’s unhinged rhetoric against Republicans.

Dangerous rhetoric has been part and parcel of the Left’s tactics for years.
