Intel Expert Warned the DOJ About Foreign Governments Behind Anti-ICE Riots

Rioters have been attacking ICE agents and detention facilities across the country.

Now a top intelligence expert is warning the federal government that the men funding those riots answer to more than one foreign power.

The federal government just learned which foreign governments the rioters were actually working for.

The DOJ Money Laundering Probe That Led From Shanghai to Goldman Sachs

Neville Roy Singham is a 72-year-old Marxist sitting in Shanghai who sold his tech company for $800 million in 2017.

And he’s spent every year since funding the far-left groups organizing chaos on American streets.

The People's Forum, Breakthrough News, CodePink, the Party for Socialism and Liberation, the ANSWER Coalition – Singham has funneled $278 million into that network since 2017, according to a Fox News Digital investigation.

Adam Sohn, co-founder and CEO of the Network Contagion Research Institute, has tracked the Singham network for years and told Fox News Digital the street picture is impossible to miss.

"Without his money, these nonprofits have no reason for existence," Sohn said. "I think Americans are seeing what this ecosystem looks like in the streets of our country. These aren't protests, it's coordinated chaos and attacks on infrastructure."

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche authorized a federal grand jury in Manhattan – run by U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton of the Southern District of New York – to issue subpoenas probing alleged wire fraud, bank fraud, and money laundering inside Singham's financial network.

The money moved in stages — $285 million out of Shanghai, routed through a Goldman Sachs philanthropy fund and a pair of shell corporations, before reaching the nonprofit accounts waiting at the end of the line.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent traveled to New York and delivered a blunt warning to Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon: the bank faced scrutiny for its role in moving those funds, and full cooperation with federal investigators was the only acceptable answer.

Solomon cooperated.

CCP Foreign Agents Running the Anti-ICE Protest Network

The DOJ probe is about more than money.

"They're functioning as unregistered foreign agents, with ties to Venezuela, ties to Iran, North Korea, Russia, Cuba," Sohn told Fox News Digital.

The same organizing infrastructure that shut down bridges, shut down airports, and attacked police officers outside federal facilities is now being redeployed against America's artificial intelligence buildout.

The Bitcoin Policy Institute documented 21 campaigns across 14 states where the Party for Socialism and Liberation – a Marxist-Leninist group tied directly to Singham's network – served as a critical organizer against data center construction.

An estimated $23.6 billion in proposed AI investment was delayed, scaled back, or blocked entirely through those campaigns, with 10 local governments imposing construction moratoria, one community enacting a permanent ban, and a $12 billion Blackstone-backed campus in Wisconsin and Google's $1 billion Franklin Township project in New Jersey both scrapped outright.

Senator Tom Cotton wrote to the DOJ in June demanding an investigation into foreign efforts to block America's AI buildout, pointing directly at Singham's network by name.

"For years, Singham's network has been producing content opposing the development of American AI infrastructure," Cotton wrote, "and various investigations have found that the Chinese government is the network's ultimate paymaster."

Not one organization in Singham's network has registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act.

China Killed 23 Billion in American AI Data Centers While Building Its Own

The Bitcoin Policy Institute documented how Beijing's state media outlets – CGTN, China Daily, Global Times – ran coordinated messaging against American data centers at the same moment Singham-funded groups were protesting them on the ground.

The asymmetry is the tell. China was pouring money into its own AI infrastructure – covering operators' energy costs at rates American competitors couldn't match – while Singham's activists cleared the path to make sure no rival facilities ever got built on this side of the Pacific.

"Neville Singham is a traitor to our country," Sen. Jim Banks of Indiana told Fox News Digital. "All of his loyalties lie with the Chinese Communist Party."

The federal grand jury in Manhattan is still active. No charges have been filed.

What started as a nonprofit fraud probe has become something much darker – a coordinated operation that put Iranian operatives alongside CCP-aligned activists on American soil, used American tax law to bankroll it all, and has been quietly dismantling America's technological future one city council vote at a time.
