Barron Trump became an unlikely player in the Presidential election.
He may be the newest political star in the Trump family.
And Barron Trump cracked one code that helped Donald Trump wreck Democrats.
Donald Trump’s campaign turned out unlikely voters to power him to victory
President-elect Donald Trump won a historic victory over Vice President Kamala Harris.
He was the first Republican in two decades to win the popular vote and had collected the most Electoral Votes by a GOP candidate since 1988.
Trump won male voters by 13 points over Kamala according to an NBC News exit poll.
Men aged 18-29 shifted to him by 14 points from the 2020 Election.
The Trump campaign went out of its way to target men with its media strategy.
He skipped interviews with traditional media outlets like CBS News’ 60 Minutes to focus on podcasts that are popular with male audiences.
Trump appeared on the podcasts of comedians Theo Von, Joe Rogan, and Andrew Schulz.
In total, he sat down for interviews on more than a dozen podcasts while Vice President-elect J.D. Vance handled the traditional media outlets.
18-year-old Barron Trump helped pick the podcasts and live streams that his dad should go on.
He set the President-elect up to appear on videogame live streamer Adin Ross’ podcast in August which racked up millions of views.
The Trump campaign found a way to reach disengaged voters
Turning Point USA was one of the groups that was working to turn out voters for Trump this election.
Charlie Kirk, the group’s founder, said the Trump campaign put an emphasis on finding more voters who typically don’t turn out to vote or weren’t registered to vote all but liked Trump.
“The Trump campaign was brilliant because they threw the Republican consultant playbook out,” Kirk told podcast host Patrick Bet-David. Trump came in and said, ‘No, no, no. We are going to focus on low propensity voters — the welder, the electrician, the carpenter, the police offer, or the person that’s just not registered to vote.”
These are voters who don’t watch cable news or read the newspaper.
“Here’s the kicker. Where do these people get their information? Lower propensity voters get their information on TikTok,” Kirk explained. “They are not watching CNN. These folks are darn tired by the time they get home. They are not turning on cable news. They are watching NFL football games.”
The Trump campaign met these voters where they were by appearing on podcasts that appealed to them.
Turning Point USA ran voter registration and get-out-the-vote at college campuses in swing states.
Kirk and his crew would show up to tailgates for football games and fraternities to get to turn out voters for Trump.
The Democrat Party has an ax to grind with men with its increasingly woke agenda.
Kamala faced an insurmountable gender gap in the election when she lost men overwhelmingly to Trump.
Trump outfoxed her and the Left by using the new media of podcasts to speak to voters while Democrats mostly ignored them.
