Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison celebrates as nations restrict individual liberties
Leftists across the globe have enjoyed media supremacy for many years, with most mainstream media outlets spewing out their talking points all throughout the day.
However, as more people turn to podcasts and social media for the news, the Left has started to lose its iron grip over the news media.
This has caused many radical left-wing politicians to take action, attacking platforms that facilitate free speech and the free press.
X for example has become a popular punching bag for the Left, with some nations taking steps to restrict or even ban the immensely popular platform.
In Brazil, officials demanded that X’s owner, Elon Musk, ban certain accounts, critical of the Brazilian government.
Musk refused to participate in this sweeping censorship effort, resulting in Brazilian Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes ordering that the Brazilian government block X and other Musk-linked assets such as Starlink.
However, this attack on X and its users does not stop here. Moraes also ordered that anybody caught circumventing these measures to access X be punished.
Breitbart News reported on the matter, telling readers, “that anyone caught trying to access the social media platform could be fined nearly $9,000 per day, according to a report by the New York Times.”
“The move reportedly came after Musk closed his X office in Brazil after Moraes threatened to make arrests over ignoring his demands to remove X accounts that he said broke Brazilian laws,” Breitbart News added in its report.
As millions of Internet users across the globe watch with terror, many American leftists have applauded this dystopian move.
For example, Keith Ellison, who serves under Tim Walz as the Attorney General for Minnesota, celebrated Brazil’s actions.
On Labor Day, Ellison ironically took to X to post, “Obrigado Brasil!” which translates to “Thanks Brazil!”

Other X users were not so happy about this post, with The Federalist editor-in-chief Mollie Hemingway, replying with, “Tim Walz’s attorney general in Minnesota — Keith Ellison — thanks Brasil for crushing free speech platform X.”
Furthermore, many Americans fear that Ellison’s boasts disturbingly signal support for measures that silence and punish the political enemies of the ruling party, actions that clearly violate the First Amendment.

Keith Ellison and his radical Democrat allies, including Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, often support measures that spit in the face of the United States Constitution.
That is because the entire point of the Constitution is to limit the power of the government, with the Bill of Rights enumerating certain rights for individuals.
Attorney General Keith Ellison and Governor Tim Walz have repeatedly trampled on the liberties of the people they have claimed to represent.
