Americans fought for their freedom against the British in the Revolutionary War.

But the lessons of that conflict are lost on them today.

And British police picked one fight with Americans that hadn’t been seen since 1776.

Civil unrest caused the United Kingdom to become an authoritarian state

The United Kingdom is the dark future awaiting America if Democrats get their way.

British citizens have voted to stop the massive numbers of illegal aliens and legal immigrants that are transforming the country.

The Conservative Party lost its majority and suffered the worst loss in its history in the July 4 election after it broke its promises to stop immigration.

A teenager who is the son of immigrants from Rwanda went on a stabbing spree in Southport, England, that killed three young girls and injured others.

The British government tried to keep the identity of the attacker a secret from the public.

Widespread protests and riots broke out throughout the United Kingdom against mass immigration after the stabbing.

New Prime Minister Keir Starmer – a far-left member of the Labor Party – launched a crackdown on citizens upset over what is happening to their country.

Muslim immigrants were given free rein while British citizens were swiftly punished.

A two-tier justice system has developed in the country where the natives are put last.

The police arrested more than 1,000 people related to the upheaval.

British police threat to arrest Americans over social media posts

But the totalitarian behavior of the police wasn’t limited to the real world.

British citizens were arrested for their posts on social media.

The London Metropolitan Police chief threatened American citizens that they would be extradited and charged for making offensive posts on social media.

“We will throw the full force of the law at people,” Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley told Sky News. “And whether you’re in this country committing crimes on the streets or committing crimes from further afield online, we will come after you.”

American citizens are being threatened not to exercise their free speech rights because of the draconian rules of a foreign government.

X owner Elon Musk commented on a video of the British police arresting a citizen over a Facebook post.

“Arrested for making comments on Facebook!” Musk wrote. “Is this Britain or the Soviet Union?”

Rowley was asked about Musk allegedly “whipping up the hatred.”

“You can be guilty of offenses of incitement, of stirring up racial hatred, there are numerous terrorist offenses regarding the publishing of material,” Rowley said. “All of those offenses are in play if people are provoking hatred and violence on the streets, and we will come after those individuals just as we will physically confront on the streets the thugs and the yobs who are taking — who are causing the problems for communities.”

Democrats frequently and falsely claim that the First Amendment doesn’t protect hate speech.

If they get control of the Supreme Court one of the first things the justices will do is destroy the First Amendment and pave the way for anti-hate speech laws like the British have.

The United Kingdom is a peek into the future of what’s in store for free speech if the Democrats get their way.
