Many Americans have regarded last month’s assassination attempt against Donald Trump as one of the most embarrassing moments for the Secret Service.
Rumors and conspiracy theories swirl partly due to the federal government’s sealed lips on the matter.
And Matt Gaetz just dropped a truth bomb on these powerful tech companies.
This lawmaker did not hold back as this social media giant was caught red-handed
On July 13, 2024, Donald Trump narrowly escaped death while speaking at a routine campaign rally.
Just days prior, President Joe Biden told his fellow Democrats to put a bullseye on Donald Trump, and unfortunately, one deranged young man took his advice.
Following this horrifying assassination attempt, Americans have done their best to understand how such a catastrophic security failure could happen.
Federal officials have kept their lips sealed on the matter, forcing many to do their own research.
However, according to several prominent lawmakers and media figures, large social media companies have allegedly suppressed information about the events of July 13.
Congressman Matt Gaetz (R-FL) for example has accused several top tech companies of deliberately suppressing information about last month’s assassination attempt.
In a letter to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Gaetz calls out Facebook and Google by name, accusing them of suppressing information from their users.
Gaetz claimed in his letter, “Numerous news outlets have reported various irregularities in search results and home pages.”
“For example, Facebook has acknowledged that it censored an authentic photograph of Donald Trump as ‘false information’ and Google has acknowledged that it excludes and does not autocomplete results for searches relating to the Trump assassination attempt,” the concerned Florida lawmaker added.
Donald Trump has echoed many of these concerns, posting on Truth Social, “Facebook has just admitted that it wrongly censored the Trump ‘attempted assassination photo,’ and got caught. Same thing for Google.”
Trump elaborated on these accusations telling his supporters, “They made it virtually impossible to find pictures or anything about this heinous act. Both are facing BIG BACKLASH OVER CENSORSHIP CLAIMS. Here we go again, another attempt at RIGGING THE ELECTION!!! GO AFTER META AND GOOGLE. LET THEM KNOW WE ARE ALL WISE TO THEM, WILL BE MUCH TOUGHER THIS TIME. MAGA2024!”
Many Americans fear that Big Tech has not learned a thing after facing repeated censorship claims
Big Tech companies such as Google and Meta have come under fire in recent years for allegedly censoring content on their platforms, benefitting Joe Biden and his Democrat allies.
These Big Tech companies even faced lawsuits, alleging that they worked directly with the Joe Biden administration to silence Americans online.
However, Amy Coney Barrett and liberal justices on the Supreme Court teamed up to give Big Tech and the Biden administration a major victory, siding with them in the Murthy v Missouri Supreme Court case.
Many Americans fear that this devastating Supreme Court decision will allow Big Tech companies and their allies in the Joe Biden administration to keep censoring content online in order to facilitate the agenda of the radical Left.
