Donald Trump has been at war against Big Tech for years.

But things could be slowly shifting in this long-running conflict.

And Donald Trump revealed one secret about Mark Zuckerberg that no one saw coming.

Donald Trump spills the beans on a private call with Mark Zuckerberg

Former President Donald Trump has had a contentious relationship with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg over the years.

During an interview with the New York magazine, Trump talked about speaking with Zuckerberg and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos after he was shot at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania on July 13.

The former President said that the Meta CEO told him that there was no way he could vote for a Democrat this election.

“Mark Zuckerberg called up and said, ‘I’ve never supported a Republican before, but there’s no way I can vote for a Democrat in this election,’” Trump recalled.

“He’s a guy that, his parents, everybody was always Democrat. He said, ‘I will never vote for the people running against you after watching what you did.’ So, I mean, people really appreciated it. I don’t — I think it was very natural what I did. I think it was natural,” Trump said.

This is an about-face given the relationship between the two.

Zuckerberg banned Trump from platforms like Facebook and Instagram after the 2020 Election before his access was eventually restored.

The Facebook founder also poured nearly $400 million into nonprofits to help local election officials administer the 2020 Election which was used to juice Democrat turnout dubbed “Zuckerbucks.”

The relationship between Donald Trump and Zuckerberg could be changing

Zuckerberg previously praised Trump for his reaction in the aftermath of the assassination attempt against him.

“Seeing Donald Trump get up after getting shot in the face and pump his fist in the air with the American flag is one of the most bada** things I’ve ever seen in my life,” Zuckerberg told Bloomberg in July. “On some level as an American, it’s, like, hard to not get kind of emotional about that spirit and that fight, and I think that that’s why a lot of people like the guy.”

Trump’s comments were the latest sign that something could be changing with Zuckerberg.

The Meta CEO sent a letter to the House Judiciary Committee expressing his regret for caving to the Biden-Harris administration on censorship.

He claimed that he would push back against it if it happened again.

Zuckerberg also said that he wasn’t going to be doling out any ‘Zuckerbucks’ this election cycle Zuckerberg said of the contributions he made to municipalities under the guise of helping facilitate election administration but which were seemingly used to drive up votes in Democrat jurisdictions.

“My goal is to be neutral and not play a role one way or another — or to even appear to be playing a role,” Zuckerberg said. “So I don’t plan on making a similar contribution this cycle.”

Trump has had Big Tech working against him since the 2016 Election.

But things are slowly shifting in his favor.

Tesla founder Elon Musk’s purchase of X, formerly Twitter, broke the Left’s stranglehold on major social media platforms.

Now, Mark Zuckerberg could be moving toward a more neutral stance toward Trump this election cycle.
