Tim Walz has turned out to be a disastrous running mate pick for Kamala Harris.
It’s almost as if the Harris team did not properly vet him.
And Megyn Kelly obliterated Tim Walz when he got caught red handed in yet another outrageous lie.
Walz lies about timeline in China
Kamala Harris selected Tim Walz to be her running mate because he was supposed to have folksy charm and appeal as a “Midwestern Dad.”
That was supposed to balance out the Democrat ticket and appeal to moderates.
However, Walz has utterly failed in that mission.
Not only is Walz just as radical as Harris on policy, a lot of his background has been embellished, to put it nicely.
Walz lied about an old DUI arrest, claiming that he was not drinking and he only failed a field sobriety test because of temporary hearing loss due to his service in the National Guard.
Walz was transported to the hospital where his BAC was well above the legal limit, then he was booked into county jail.
He claimed that his wife conceived through IVF treatments, but that was a lie that his wife was forced to correct; she used a less invasive procedure called IUI.
The latest Walz lie to be uncovered was that he was in Hong Kong during the Tiananmen Square massacre in Beijing, China in 1989.
It turned out that Walz did not arrive until two months after the protests ended.
Tampon Tim claimed that he was in Hong Kong in May of 1989 during Tiananmen Square.
Local news reports from the time show that he was actually in Nebraska.

Walz melts on the debate stage
During his Vice Presidential debate with Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH), Walz was asked about the lie by co-moderator Margaret Brennan, and his answer was an utter disaster.
Brennan asked, “You said you were in Hong Kong during the deadly Tiananmen Square protest in the spring of 1989. But Minnesota Public Radio and other media outlets are reporting that you actually didn’t travel to Asia until August of that year. Can you explain that discrepancy?”
Walz began, “Yeah. Well, and to the folks out there who didn’t get at the top of this, look, I grew up in small, rural Nebraska, town of 400. Town that you rode your bike with your buddies till the streetlights come on, and I’m proud of that service.”
Walz slipped up and called riding his bike a “service.”
He was likely in a defensive posture about his National Guard service because he was accused by men who served with him of stolen valor.
Walz claimed on numerous occasions that he retired from the National Guard with the rank of Sergeant Major, the highest non-commissioned officer rank in the Army.
However, Walz never completed the coursework and retired as a Master Sergeant.
That was yet another lie that Walz has told.
Walz tried to filibuster about growing up in a small town, and dropped one of the most cringeworthy lines of the entire debate.
He said, “They, look, I will be the first to tell you I have poured my heart into my community. I’ve tried to do the best I can, but I’ve not been perfect. And I’m a knucklehead at times, but it’s always been about that.”
“I’m a knucklehead” will be Walz’s enduring legacy.
Brennan surprisingly held his feet to the fire.
She followed up, “Governor, just to follow up on that, the question was, can you explain the discrepancy?”
Walz replied, “No. All I said on this was, is, I got there that summer and misspoke on this, so I will just, that’s what I’ve said. So I was in Hong Kong and China during the democracy protest, went in, and from that, I learned a lot of what needed to be in governance.”
Megyn Kelly and her guests obliterated Time Walz for the knucklehead answer.
One of the guest on Kelly’s panel, Eliana Johnson, compared Walz’s answer to a comedy show, saying “It looks like a Saturday Night Live skit… I was astonished by that…”

Walz proved on the debate stage that he is terrible at this.
He was not at all ready for primetime.
Vance calmly destroyed him.
The future of the two parties could not be more divergent.
