Twitter suppressed the Hunter Biden laptop story weeks before the 2020 election and labeled it Russian disinformation.
The same Silicon Valley that silenced that story just built the chatbot voters are using to fill out their midterm ballot.
Research just confirmed how many American voters changed their pick after a single conversation with it.
ChatGPT Liberal Bias Is Not a Glitch – It Is the Product
Roughly half of all American adults now use AI chatbots, according to Pew Research Center.
A chatbot is a program you type questions into and it writes back answers in plain English, like texting a very confident encyclopedia that never admits when it doesn’t know something.
Young voters are leaning on them hardest, and a survey ahead of California's June primary found 15 percent of voters planned to use one to research candidates – a number concentrated in people who have grown up treating whatever a screen tells them as settled fact.
Three weeks before midterm elections decide control of Congress, that is no longer a fringe experiment.
Many voters say they use these programs to research down-ballot races – local judges, school board members, and county commissioners the mainstream media never covers.
Those races are decided by a few thousand votes, and a chatbot steering voters toward Democrat candidates can flip one before anyone notices.
Researchers at the University of East Anglia documented the problem directly – ChatGPT shows a "significant and systematic political bias" toward Democrats in the United States, toward the Labour Party in the United Kingdom, and toward Brazil's leftist president Lula.
The bias was not built by a programmer who flipped a switch labeled "vote Democrat."
It was absorbed from years of consuming the internet's liberal-dominated content, then tuned by programmers in San Francisco who share the same worldview.
The companies that build these programs never tell you what they fed them, where they get their information, or what steers their political answers.
Voters have no way to evaluate the machine they are trusting with their ballot.
The mainstream media calls it "nonpartisan" research – the same mainstream media that spent three years calling the laptop story Russian disinformation.
One in 25 Americans Changed Their Presidential Vote After a Single ChatGPT Conversation
A study published in Nature ran chatbots against actual voters during the 2024 presidential election and measured what happened.
The result dwarfed anything political campaigns have ever purchased – roughly four times the impact of a TV ad buy from the 2016 or 2020 cycles.
Cornell University professor David Rand, a lead researcher on the project, put a number on it: roughly one in 25 Americans switched their stated voting intention after a single chatbot conversation.
In Canada and Poland – where similar experiments ran during the 2025 elections – one in 10 voters switched.
ChatGPT is a voter manipulation machine wearing the costume of a research assistant – and it has already picked a side.
A 2024 study of major AI programs found that over two-thirds of responses to election questions were incomplete, and every program tested performed poorly on election accuracy.
Voters who rely on these tools are not doing research – they are reading a script written by people in San Francisco who voted for Kamala Harris.
Voters have moved past just researching candidates – some are now snapping photos of their actual ballots and handing them to chatbots for marking instructions.
Rep. Mike Lawler of New York co-signed a bipartisan letter to federal agencies in July warning that the accuracy and neutrality of these programs are now "directly tied to the integrity of our democratic process."
He is right – and no federal law requires these companies to disclose what shapes their political answers, no one is auditing them, and no one enforces anything when the chatbot leans Left.
The machine is unaccountable and openly biased, and tens of millions of Americans are trusting it with their votes.
AI Voter Manipulation Is Already Here – Silicon Valley Just Calls It a Research Tool
Democrats spent decades trying to control the media narrative through newspapers, broadcast networks, and social media algorithms – and none of it worked as well as this.
These programs are not aimed at the voter who knows what he believes – they were built for the 24-year-old who finds politics confusing, the low-conviction voter who has not followed the race, and the person who types "who should I vote for" into a chatbot because it is faster than reading.
Nobody is changing that voter's mind – the chatbot is building it from scratch.
The Nature study found the chatbot worked best on voters who started out opposed to the candidate it was promoting – the less someone knew what they believed walking in, the more completely the machine decided for them.
Silicon Valley built the most persuasive political influencer in American history, trained it on a liberal worldview, and aimed it directly at the voters who do not know enough to push back.
The Left did not need to steal this election.
They just needed enough Americans to stop thinking for themselves – and they built the perfect machine for that.
