Trump Discovered One Deep State Operative Still Drawing a Paycheck That Will Have Him Seeing Red

President Trump promised to drain the swamp this time around.

But some creatures from the deep state are still lurking in the shadows.

And Trump just discovered one deep state operative still drawing a paycheck that will have him seeing red.

Russia Hoax investigator hiding in plain sight at NSA

The National Security Agency’s top attorney has been living a double life right under Trump’s nose.

April Falcon Doss currently holds the position of NSA general counsel, one of the most sensitive legal roles in the federal government.

But here’s what makes this story absolutely infuriating.

During a crucial period between her NSA assignments, Doss worked directly for Senate Democrats to investigate Trump during the Russia Hoax witch hunt that nearly destroyed his first presidency.

Starting in 2017, she became Senior Counsel for Democrat Senator Mark Warner on the Senate Intelligence Committee’s Russia investigation.

That’s right – the woman now serving as Trump’s top NSA attorney spent years trying to dig up dirt to frame him for Russian collusion.

The committee performed hundreds of witness interviews in a desperate hunt for evidence linking Trump to Russia.

Of course, they found nothing because there was nothing to find.

But Doss was right there in the thick of it, working hand-in-glove with Democrat partisans to destroy Trump’s presidency.

Her anti-Trump activism runs deep

Doss isn’t just some neutral civil servant who happened to work on the Russia investigation.

She’s a full-blown Trump-hating activist who has made her partisan views crystal clear in public writings.

In May 2021, she celebrated Trump’s ban from social media platforms, writing that "at long last" Trump had been silenced.¹

She blamed Trump for "deaths at the Capitol and a serious attempt to prevent certification of the election" while pushing the discredited "Big Lie" narrative.²

The woman trusted with America’s most sensitive intelligence secrets actually bought into the January 6 propaganda hook, line, and sinker.

But it gets worse.

Doss has also attacked Republicans for opposing censorship efforts, claiming that "anti-vaccination propaganda" and other so-called "disinformation" required a massive government crackdown.³

She even authored an editorial advising the "Biden-Harris Administration" on methods to crack down on conservatives and "extremism."⁴

This is someone who thinks Republicans asking questions about government overreach makes them dangerous extremists.

In another piece, she mocked concerns about the targeting of Trump officials Carter Page and Michael Flynn, dismissing Republican objections as if they were conspiracy theories.⁵

These were real Americans whose lives were destroyed by corrupt intelligence officials, and Doss thinks it’s a joke.

Double standard exposes deep state protection racket

The way Doss secured her current job reveals everything you need to know about how the deep state protects its own.

When Trump tried to appoint Republican Michael Ellis to the same position in November 2020, NSA Director General Paul Nakasone immediately placed him on administrative leave.⁶

Ellis was investigated and ultimately driven out, even though the investigation found no wrongdoing.

But when Joe Biden’s NSA wanted to hire Democrat partisan April Doss, they just slipped her into the job quietly.

The Record reported that the NSA didn’t publicly announce her hiring because they didn’t want to "stir the hornet’s nest among Capitol Hill Republicans."⁷

Think about that for a second.

They knew Republicans would be outraged by this hire, so they tried to hide it from the American people.

A Republican gets driven out on trumped-up charges, while a Democrat Russia Hoax investigator gets quietly installed in the same role.

This is exactly the kind of two-tiered justice system that Trump was elected to dismantle.

Time to clean house

The discovery of Doss’s continued employment comes at a particularly explosive moment.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has submitted criminal referrals over what she calls a conspiracy involving "manufactured intelligence" against Trump.⁸

Trump himself has said the evidence could support prosecuting high-level officials including Barack Obama, James Comey, and James Clapper.⁹

Having someone who worked on the Russia Hoax sitting in the NSA’s top legal position is like letting the fox guard the henhouse.

Senator Warner, Doss’s former boss, is now attacking Gabbard for releasing documents that expose the intelligence community’s efforts to frame Trump.¹⁰

This reveals the desperation of the deep state operatives who know their corruption is being exposed.

Trump has already fired NSA Director General Timothy Haugh and vetoed the Pentagon’s nomination for his replacement.¹¹

But somehow April Doss is still there, still drawing a government paycheck, still in position to protect the very people who tried to destroy Trump’s first presidency.

The President who promised to drain the swamp can’t afford to let swamp creatures like Doss continue operating in positions of power.

Americans didn’t elect Trump to play nice with the people who spent years trying to frame him for treason.

They elected him to clean house and restore accountability to our intelligence agencies.

April Doss represents everything that’s wrong with the permanent bureaucracy in Washington, D.C.

Her continued employment at the NSA is a slap in the face to every American who voted for change.

The time for patience with deep state operatives is over.
