The Biden-Harris administration has made censorship one of its chief tactics.

And they’ve had a little help from their globalist allies along the way.

Now Trump allies are about to blow the lid off this globalist scheme a former State Department official helped expose.

Telegram CEO arrest raises questions about Biden-Harris involvement

Censorship has turned into a global operation to control the flow of information.

Telegram CEO Pavel Durov faced pressure from governments around the globe to censor content on his messaging/social media app Telegram.

Durov – who fled Russia for the United Arab Emirates – was arrested for charges related to Telegram as soon as he landed at a French airport.

French authorities accused him of being responsible for crimes committed by users of his app including money laundering and drug trafficking.

There’s reason to believe that the Biden-Harris administration could have played a role in Durov’s arrest.

Former Trump State Department official Mike Benz said during an appearance on Newsmax the arrest couldn’t have happened without American knowledge.

“There is no chance on earth that French law enforcement made such a geopolitically and geostrategically sensitive move without coordinating, notifying, or working with the U.S. Embassy in Paris,” Benz said.

America First Legal – a group started by former members of the Trump administration – is seeking answers about the Biden-Harris administration’s potential knowledge and involvement in the arrest of Pavel Durov in France.

The group filed two Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests with the State Department based on the reporting from Mike Benz.

One of the FOIA requests asked for documents and communications that contained Pavel Durov, Telegram, or Paul du Rove.

It also requested any information on Durov’s arrest in France.

American First Legal asserted the Biden-Harris administration had a history of “stifling” free speech.

The group pointed to documents it obtained in January 2023 that found the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) using “foreign intelligence tactics” to censor speech.

Durov was interviewed by former Fox News host Tucker Carlson in April where he revealed the pressure the Biden-Harris administration put on him to censor content on Telegram.

He said the United States Government tried to secretly hire his engineers to put a backdoor into Telegram to spy on its users.

America First Legal executive director Gene Hamilton stressed the global significance of Durov’s arrest.

“Freedom of speech is fundamental for the flourishing of mankind,” Hamilton said. “The adoption of the First Amendment was not just critical for free speech in the United States–but it also signaled to the world that freedom of speech was essential to fighting tyranny and oppression.”

Hamilton said that Americans had a right to know if the Biden-Harris administration had “advance knowledge” that Durov would be arrested.

Durov’s arrest has broad implications globally for censorship on social media.

A telephone company wouldn’t be held responsible for the crimes committed by one of its users.

Holding social media companies and privacy-focused messaging apps to that standard opens the door to leveraging them into censoring content on the government’s behalf to stay in business.
