Over the last several weeks, two devastating hurricanes have ravaged the American southeast, killing hundreds with hundreds more missing.

Emergency responders are still conducting search and rescue efforts with little to no help from the Biden-Harris regime.

And top FEMA boss Alejandro Mayorkas repeated these unfounded claims as Florida residents try to put the pieces together.

What Alejandro Mayorkas just stated has millions of Americans outraged

From Western Virginia to Southern Florida, Americans across the southeast are picking up the pieces after Hurricanes Milton and Helene unleashed devastating winds and rain on the region.

Hundreds have died from these devastating storms, with even more missing, not to mention the billions of dollars of damage these horrific storms caused.

Emergency responders from the states and counties impacted have worked tirelessly to help the people involved, yet the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has done little to nothing to help.

According to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, FEMA has run out of funding after splurging on relief for illegal aliens, among other wasteful projects.

This has not sat well with many Americans, causing the Biden-Harris administration to change their tune, especially with Election Day just around the corner.

On a broadcast of MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Mayorkas blamed so-called “misinformation” for his agencies’ botched response, telling viewers, “There is so much false information being spread, and we cannot have people relying on that false information or actually deterred from seeking relief that’s available to them that they need because of that false information.”

“Historically, this country has come together as one in times of crisis, in times of disaster. We need that history to be lived today. We cannot have the irresponsible voices that actually wreak damage to individuals in need and prevent survivors from seeking the relief that is available to them,” the beleaguered Homeland Security Secretary added.

Mayorkas’ excuse that “misinformation” has prevented his department from doing its job follows a trend within the Biden-Harris regime of blaming so-called “misinformation” every time something does not go as planned.

For years, the Biden-Harris administration has practically bragged about using emergency funds for illegal immigration, but now that voters in Georgia and North Carolina have turned on them, their messaging has changed.

The federal government’s botched response to Hurricane Helene and Milton shows how ineffective the federal government is

As Ronald Reagan famously once said, “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.’”

These immortal words ring true today now more than ever, with the Biden-Harris administration failing at just about everything they pursue.

In the case of hurricane relief, FEMA and other federal agencies have done little to nothing to help the many impacted Americans, if anything, getting in the way of local and state responders who have put their lives on the line to help save lives.

Meanwhile, the Biden-Harris administration has made it clear that winning the election in a few weeks is far more important to them.
