Free DC Teaches Jurors How To Let Criminals Walk
Free DC announced it's hosting a "Juror Information Project" training session on January 12 to teach Washington, D.C., residents how to use jury duty as "a powerful tool" to protect "marginalized" defendants from "systemic biases."¹
"As community members, our participation in juries is vital to safeguarding the rights of those who are most vulnerable to systemic biases," the group states. "By serving on a jury, we can influence outcomes and help create a more equitable legal process."²
Translation: show up for jury duty and let criminals walk free if they're part of the "right" identity groups.
Free DC co-founder Alex Dodds told The Washington Post that the training is designed to create "skeptical jurors" who will use their "enormous amount of power to decide whether this administration and its agenda are right — or wrong."³
Read that again. Dodds isn't talking about weighing evidence. He's recruiting political activists to sabotage Trump prosecutions from the jury box.
The group partnered with Harriet's Wildest Dreams, a prison abolition organization, to teach D.C. residents how to weaponize their jury service against Trump's law enforcement crackdown.
That's jury tampering — a federal crime. But Soros money buys immunity from prosecution.
Follow The Money Trail Straight To Soros
Free DC operates as a "fiscally sponsored special project" of Community Change and Community Change Action — nonprofits that function as pass-through vehicles for left-wing dark money.⁴
Here's where it gets interesting.
Between 2020 and 2023, these organizations received $12.6 million from George Soros's Open Society Foundations, $5.6 million from the Arabella Advisors network, and $1.9 million from the Tides Foundation.⁵
In 2023 alone, Soros pumped $4 million into Community Change, while the Arabella network contributed another $680,000 and the Tides Foundation added $145,000.⁶

Community Change Action ran the Immigrant Voters Win Super PAC during the 2016 presidential election. The largest single donation? Three million dollars from George Soros.⁷
This is the same playbook Soros has used for decades. Fund a web of nonprofits that coordinate to advance radical policies while hiding behind layers of dark money organizations.
The Tides Foundation alone has funneled $17.2 million from Soros's Open Society Foundations since 2009, earning it the nickname "George Soros's Favorite Money Handler" from watchdog groups.⁸
Caitlin Sutherland, executive director of Americans for Public Trust, exposed the scam.
"DC is facing shootings, carjackings, and assaults, and yet progressive groups like The Pritzker Foundation, George Soros, and the Arabella Network all spend millions of dollars to manufacture protests that weaken our communities," Sutherland stated.⁹
Free DC Responded To Guardsman's Murder By Attacking The Guard
The Washington Post dubbed Free DC "the face of the capital's anti-Trump resistance."¹⁰
The group emerged in 2023 to oppose efforts to reform Washington, D.C.'s dangerous criminal code.
When Trump deployed the National Guard to restore order, Free DC launched a coordinated resistance campaign.
Their tactics? Nightly "pot and pan" protests at 8:00 PM and "Cop Watch Training" sessions designed to harass law enforcement.
The group's "guiding principles" read like a manual for civil disobedience — "do not obey in advance," "take up space," and organize daily noise disruptions across the city.¹¹
But here's where it gets truly disturbing.
After two West Virginia National Guardsmen were shot while on patrol in Washington, D.C., in November — one killed and one wounded by an Afghan national — Free DC argued on social media that "the Guard should not be here."¹²
A National Guardsman was murdered protecting D.C. residents. Free DC complained about the Guard's presence.
That's who Soros is funding to train citizens to sabotage jury trials.
The Left's Assault On Law And Order Just Went Nuclear
What Free DC is teaching amounts to coordinated jury nullification — when jurors deliberately ignore evidence and the law to reach a verdict based on their political beliefs.
That's jury tampering. A federal crime under 18 U.S.C. §1503.
But nobody's arresting these people because Soros money protects them.
Mike Howell, director of the Oversight Project at the Heritage Foundation, called out what's really happening.
"The Soros agenda is one of death and destruction in the name of open borders and ending Western Civilization," Howell warned.¹³
The timing couldn't be more deliberate.
Trump's Make D.C. Safe Again initiative has produced results that terrify the radical left. The city went from one of the most dangerous in America to nearly crime-free under federal oversight.
Trump proved aggressive law enforcement works. That destroys decades of left-wing propaganda about "systemic racism" in policing.
So Soros is funding a campaign to sabotage the justice system from the inside — by training Americans to let criminals walk free regardless of the evidence.
And get this: the same people screaming about "threats to democracy" are literally teaching jurors to ignore evidence in criminal trials.
They spent years calling Trump a threat to the rule of law. Now they're coordinating efforts to make jurors reject the law itself.
The hypocrisy would be stunning if it wasn't so predictable. This is what $20 million in Soros money buys — a coordinated assault on the justice system.
Trump restored order to Washington, D.C. Now Soros is funding a campaign to burn it all down from the jury box.
