Ron DeSantis knows how to stir the pot.
And many conservatives will thoroughly enjoy how he recently taunted Prince Harry during an interview with Piers Morgan.
What he said certainly will have Prince Harry’s blood pressure skyrocketing.
Rising Republican star Ron DeSantis didn’t come out and directly complain about Prince Harry and Meghan, but he certainly took a brutal shot at the royals.
The conversation took place when Piers Morgan interviewed DeSantis on TalkTV.
“I really respected the Queen. I think she was really elegant,” DeSantis said.
“And I think her stoicism was really good.”
But the governor admitted his feelings about the “younger generation” of the British monarchy are a “little more mixed.”
“I mean, that’s just the reality,” DeSantis explained.
Morgan then gleefully pushed the American elected official to admit whether the couple is annoying.
DeSantis said, “I think for some they are,” while claiming not to hold strong feelings about the couple himself.
“I mean look, I’m not involved in that… But I think for some Americans they can be,” he continued.

But he followed up that mostly neutral answer with a barb of his own.
“I’ll tell you though my book beat [his],” he pointed out
“His book had come out earlier, number one, and then when I became number one, I was higher than Prince Harry,” DeSantis added.
No doubt, that was like rubbing salt in a wound for Prince Harry who loves to hate the celebrity status he was born to while constantly generating as much publicity as possible.
Royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith recently pointed out that Prince Harry and Meghan are “constantly violating their own” privacy.
“I think William and Catherine have really done a remarkably good job in preserving a zone of privacy. It was challenged at the beginning by the paparazzi and they drew a very, very strong line about what they would tolerate and what they would challenge,” Bedell Smith was quoted in Newsweek referring to Harry’s older brother and wife.
“But, you know, I can’t help thinking that Harry and Meghan are so obsessed with privacy—and they’re constantly violating their own privacy with interviews and obviously Harry’s book,” she added.
After Harry and Meghan essentially split up with the Royal Family, his first big appearance was at an event in Florida.
However, it seems Florida’s Governor has little interest in drawing the couple to the Sunshine State for good.
