Trump supporters have had mixed feelings about Megyn Kelly after she left Fox news during the Trump Presidency.
While they soured on her for sparring with Trump unfairly, many enjoyed watching her hit the nail on the head when it comes to leftist hypocrisy.
And Megyn Kelly just shredded Meghan Markle’s supposed “bad experiences” while in the Royal Family.
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle’s tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey has sent shockwaves around the world, as a global audience tuned in to witness the ex-Duchess’ defamation of the Royal Family.
This bombshell interview caused a lot of damage to the Royal Family, and further worsens the racial divide in America and across the pond.
In the interview, Markle attacks the Royal Family with scandalous and unfounded accusations of racism aimed at her as well as her mixed-race son.
She claims that there were questions about her newborn son’s status in the family, considering she is mixed-race herself, and allegedly a member of the Royal Family wanted to know “how dark” her son would be upon birth.
The British Royal Family has weathered numerous scandals over the past decades, most notably surrounding the high-profile divorce of Prince Charles and Princess Diana and her untimely death in 1997. But claims of “racism” from the Royals have been few and far in between.
While her racist claims dominated the interview, veteran journalist Megyn Kelly honed in on something else Markle said that went over the heads of the primarily liberal viewership watching.
During the interview, Markle tries to appear humble, stating that she despised the grandeur that came with being a member of royalty.
Kelly calls her out for this claim, stating that she is “un-self-aware,” pointing to the many times she took advantage of her status within the Royal Family.
“[Meghan] goes on to say, I don’t believe in any of the grandeur. There’s an article already up on the New York Post here in the States that’s saying this is the person who had Clooney and Oprah at her wedding even though she didn’t even know them, and then covered herself in blood diamonds from a Saudi prince, so like, spare us that you’re not into any of the grandeur,” Kelly said on ITV’s Good Morning Britain.
Kelly is referring to a story that came out last week revealing that Markle dawned a pair of lavish drop earrings gifted by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman (MBS) just three weeks after the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
The extra-judicial killing of Kamal Khashoggi has been widely-condemned by the international community, although the details of MBS’s motivations are far from clear.
The Spectator reported that Khashoggi was being paid by the Qatari government (one of Saudi Arabia’s main regional rivals) to write anti-Saudi op-eds for the The Washington Post, which could have unfortunately played a role in his assassination.
Nonetheless, Markle had no issues wearing priceless blood diamonds from the Saudi leader known for human rights violations in his own country and neighboring war-torn Yemen.
Until recently, women were not permitted to drive, or leave their houses without a male guardian, before the international community pressured MBS to relax Saudi Arabia’s draconian religious laws.
Previously, it was claimed that the earrings had been “borrowed,” without revealing from whom.
Now we know Meghan Markle has no problem receiving gifts from the leader of an authoritarian Kingdom known for mistreating people around the world in order to promote the Saudi Crown’s geopolitical interests.
“What I saw tonight was somebody who is totally un-self-aware, completely unaware of how she sounded,” Kelly continued.
“Like, ‘I wasn’t planning on saying anything shocking, except for my husband’s racist family almost drove me to suicidal thoughts while I was pregnant with my baby.’”
There has long been speculation that Kelly would return to Fox News after spending a few years bouncing around cable news, most notably a short stint at NBC News before the woke mob forced her to leave the network.
The rumors began after a 2019 interview with Tucker Carlson, in which the network hit near-record viewership.
Perhaps Fox viewers are ready for her commitment to telling it how it is, no matter how unpopular.
