Jennifer Siebel Newsom walked into San Quentin Prison and told murderers serving life sentences that their crimes were probably accidents.
Now Megyn Kelly just said one word about her on national radio and it fits perfectly.
What Jennifer actually said to those inmates tells you exactly what a Newsom White House would look like.
Gavin Newsom's Wife Told San Quentin Lifers Their Violent Crimes Were Probably Accidents
In a resurfaced clip from a 2016 conference, Jennifer Siebel Newsom described visiting San Quentin to interview juvenile offenders for her documentary The Mask You Live In.
She decided to bond with them by sharing the story of her sister Stacey's death.
Stacey, 8 years old, was hiding behind a golf cart during a 1981 family vacation in Hawaii when the cart reversed and killed her.
Jennifer was 6 years old — too young to know her sister was standing behind the cart.
Then she told them something that should follow Gavin Newsom all the way to Iowa.
Standing before men convicted of violent crimes – men serving life sentences for rape, murder, assault – Siebel Newsom told them her golf cart accident was "probably" the same kind of thing they did.
Her exact words: "I wasn't punished the way that they were, because clearly it was an accident. But theirs was probably an accident too."
Senator Mike Lee said: "Murders are, by definition, not accidental. Apparently the First Lady of California does not accept that."
He's right.
A 6-year-old who couldn't see her sister behind a golf cart is not the same as an adult who chose to rape, murder, or assault another human being.
But Jennifer Siebel Newsom – the woman who wants to be co-president of the United States – cannot see that difference.
Or won't.
What Megyn Kelly Said Reveals the Real Problem With Gavin Newsom's 2028 Campaign
Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly nailed it on her SiriusXM show.
"Everyone who is in juvenile prison got there by accident," Kelly said. "There's absolutely no accountability."
This is the woman who calls herself California's "First Partner."
She shoved her way to her husband's podium in February to scold female reporters for not asking enough questions about abortion funding.
And now she's telling convicted violent criminals they probably didn't mean it.
She described herself to the inmates as a "blonde lady" with a "similar story" – as if a childhood accident and a murder conviction occupy the same moral universe.
They don't.
Riley Gaines saw through it immediately.
"Peak elite tone-deafness," she wrote on X after sharing the clip.
Harmeet Dhillon, the Assistant Attorney General now running the DOJ's Civil Rights Division, didn't even need a sentence.
She just wrote: "What the…"
Why Gavin Newsom's Wife Is Becoming His Biggest Liability Before 2028
This is bigger than one bad clip.
Gavin Newsom will be running for president.
He hasn't said it out loud yet – but he spent $19 million in California taxpayer money to hire a consulting firm to polish the state's image right before a national campaign.
That's not subtle.
And Jennifer Siebel Newsom just blew a massive hole in that brand.
CNN's Scott Jennings has been warning for months: "This lady, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, is gonna be a real problem for poor old Gavin."
He's looking more right by the day.
Because the clips keep coming.
She told a reporter she took her kids on a "red state tour" through Alabama and Mississippi specifically to show them what she called America's failures up close.
She announced at a California summit that she's pushing legislation to stop boys from becoming conservatives online – because even her own son in the governor's mansion thought Andrew Tate was "pretty cool."
When she couldn't persuade her own kid at dinner, she reached for government power to silence the competition.
And she said explicitly that she wants to "institutionalize our values so that they carry on beyond our term."
Not just California's values.
Their values.
Gavin's handlers can soften his edges.
They can't soften hers.
Every clip that surfaces, every press conference she hijacks, every time she tells violent prisoners they're just misunderstood – the 2028 map gets harder.
And Megyn Kelly just made sure millions of people heard about it.
