The Left have tried to “unperson” Donald Trump and all of his supporters.

They want all talk of him cut off.

And now Fox News’ Laura Ingraham has just dropped the hammer on this sick plot to get Trump.

Musk and Trump do big numbers

Elon Musk broke the internet when he interviewed Donald Trump on Twitter.

The two-hour interview garnered roughly 1 billion views.

In light of the assassination attempt against Trump, Musk threw his support behind him for the 2024 Presidential race, which infuriated the Left.

They preferred when Twitter was under their thumb with former CEO Jack Dorsey at the helm as a figurehead.

And prior to the interview, Musk was threatened by the European Commission for simply having the audacity to speak with a former President and Presidential frontrunner.

Europe is descending into Orwellian dystopia where people in the United Kingdom are being arrested for posting videos.

Foreign election interference

Thierry Breton, a member of the European Commission, sent a shockingly authoritarian letter threatening Musk’s business if his interview with Trump crossed the line.

Breton wrote, “I am writing to you in the context of recent events in the United Kingdom and in relation to the planned broadcast on your platform X of a live conversation between a US presidential candidate and yourself, which will also be accessible to users in the EU. I understand that you are currently doing a stress test of the platform. In this context, I am compelled to remind you of the due diligence obligations set out in the Digital Services Act (DSA), as outlined in my previous letter.”

The gall of trying to censor a former U.S. President is infuriating.

Breton continued, “This notably means ensuring, on one hand, that freedom of expression and of information, including media freedom and pluralism, are effectively protected and, on the other hand, that all proportionate and effective mitigation measures are put in place regarding the amplification of harmful content in connection with relevant events, including live streaming, which, if unaddressed, might increase the risk profile of X and generate detrimental effects on civic discourse and public security. This is important against the background of recent examples of public unrest brought about by the amplification of content that promotes hatred, disorder, incitement to violence, or certain instances of disinformation.”

The global elites are terrified of criticism of what they’re doing.

If they weren’t doing such a terrible job, these heavy-handed tactics would not be necessary.

Breton added, “Let me clarify that any negative effect of illegal content on X in the EU, which could be attributed to the ineffectiveness of the way in which X applies the relevant provisions of the DSA, may be relevant in the context of the ongoing proceedings and of the overall assessment of X’s compliance with EU law. This is in line with what has already been done in the recent past, for example in relation to the repercussions and amplification of terrorist content or content that incites violence, hate and racism in the EU, such as in the context of the recent riots in the United Kingdom.”

Musk is being threatened with lawfare if he does not censor Trump.

Ingraham goes off

Fox News host Laura Ingraham was livid and characterized the move as foreign meddling in the election.

“A disturbing move from the EU it sent a letter to Musk warning him that broadcasting his convo with Trump could be a violation of their Digital Services act.” Ingraham began, teeing up the story.

As she did, a thought hit her about how this was similar to what Democrats raised all hell over in the past.

Ingraham interrupted herself, asking, “Wait, how is that not foreign election interference where the Democrats said they cared about that?”

It seems as though the globalists knew they crossed the line.

The European Commission came out with a rebuke of Breton’s letter.

An EU official said that Breton sent the letter without the approval of President Ursula von der Leyen.

The official said in a statement, “The timing and the wording of the letter were neither co-ordinated or agreed with the president nor with the [commissioners]. . .Thierry has his own mind and way of working and thinking.”

But make no mistake; Breton’s colleague’s are in ideological lockstep with him.

They just prefer applying soft power because it’s hard to push back against.

To Musk’s credit,  he essentially told Breton to pound sand.
