Last year, Americans watched the Kyle Rittenhouse trial with baited breath.
It wasn’t just young Rittenhouse who was on trial for his life – but every American’s right to defend themselves was also hanging in the balance.
But Rittenhouse is causing leftist meltdowns once again after a former Kenosha alderman exposed city officials’ sneaky move.
All hell is breaking loose in Kenosha, where the equity enforcers are trying to honor this criminal.
City officials in Kenosha, Wisconsin, are considering putting up a memorial for one of the criminals Kyle Rittenhouse killed in self-defense during the Black Lives Matter riots.
The riots in Kenosha broke out following the police shooting of career criminal Jacob Blake.
The city was on fire, and young Kyle Rittenhouse, armed with a gun and medical supplies came to the city to save people and property, and literally put out dumpster fires.
In a court-proven act of self-defense – with his own life on the line – Rittenhouse ended up having to kill two white men with long rap sheets and shoot a third.
Somehow, this was made out to be a case of white supremacy and racism.
Rittenhouse was legally cleared of all wrong-doing, but Kenosha will forever live in infamy.
The former girlfriend of Anthony Huber – who chased down and attacked Rittenhouse with a skateboard back on August 25th, 2020 – wants a memorial tree and plaque planted and placed in a city park in honor of Huber.
Kenosha Parks Commission’s five-person panel has temporarily tabled the proposal.
It is important to note, Huber has a violent past well before trying to decapitate Rittenhouse.
According to Wisconsin Police reports, Huber was convicted of disorderly conduct in 2018 as a domestic abuse repeater.
He’s also been arrested for Recklessly Endangering Safety, Use of a Dangerous Weapon, Strangulation and Suffocation, False Imprisonment, and battery.
Huber’s violent past came up during the Rittenhouse trial.
“[Anthony] Huber told his brother that if he didn’t start cleaning a room in his house, he was going to gut him like a pig,” Rittenhouse’s lawyer Corey Chirafisi said in court adding, according to The New York Post that Huber “did this while holding a 6-inch butcher’s knife to the brother’s stomach.”
“Huber grabbed his brother by the neck, dug his nails in and choked him for approximately ten seconds,” Chirafisi said. “He put a knife to his brother’s left ear and his brother felt it cut. He said: ‘I’m going to burn the house down with all you f—kers in it.”
Not exactly the role model becoming over a public park memorial.
Former Kenosha Alderman, Kevin Mathewson, is afraid that by simply tabling the motion to erect a public memorial for career-criminal Huber, the Kenosha Parks Commission left the door open to pass the motion later, when no one is watching.
“They have all spoken publicly against Kyle Rittenhouse,” Mathewson said of the members of the commission. “They think that he shouldn’t have been out there, and it was terrible that he shot these poor innocent people who are just protesting police brutality.”
While Mathewson was trying to testify before the committee, Committee Chair, Alderman Eric Haugaard, repeatedly slammed his gavel, cutting off Mathewson.
“I know you don’t want to hear it, and you want to slam the gavel like a lunatic,” Mathewson said to Haugaard in the meeting. “Doesn’t change what you did was wrong.”
Alderman Haugaard voted to table the motion for a Huber park memorial, not because of Huber’s criminal rap sheet, but because the city is currently in the midst of a legal battle with the Huber family.
“I think those five members want the tree and the plaque to go up, but they don’t want the ramifications from the voters,” Mathewson said.
By tabling the proposal instead of voting it down, the committee will be able to attach it to another agenda at the last minute and pass it later.
“That’s happened before many times with a variety of things in the city of Kenosha and probably every city around the country,” Mathewson added. “It’s just a trick. It’s politicking.”
Mathewson says he’s offended that a memorial for Huber in Kenosha would even be considered.
