Donald Trump has survived assassination attempts and countless threats on his life.

Now there’s another dangerous individual off the streets.

And Kristi Noem dropped one bombshell about an illegal alien who made Donald Trump take notice.

ICE arrests illegal alien who threatened to assassinate President Trump

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced Wednesday that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers arrested an illegal alien who made direct threats to assassinate President Donald Trump.

The arrest comes at a time when threats against Trump have reached alarming levels, following the actual assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania last year.

On May 21, an ICE field intelligence officer received a handwritten letter in the mail from Ramon Morales Reyes, in which he promised to self-deport after he used his gun to shoot President Trump in the head at one of his rallies.

The threat was specific and credible enough that ICE officers moved swiftly to apprehend Morales Reyes.

“Thanks to our ICE officers, this illegal alien who threatened to assassinate President Trump is behind bars,” Secretary Noem said in a statement.

The arrest happened on May 22, just one day after authorities received the threatening letter.

Career criminal with extensive illegal entry history

What makes this case particularly troubling is Morales Reyes’ extensive criminal history and repeated illegal entries into the United States.

Records show Morales Reyes entered the U.S. illegally at least nine times between 1998 and 2005.

His criminal record includes arrests for felony hit and run, criminal damage to property, and disorderly conduct with a domestic abuse modifier.

Despite being deported multiple times, Morales Reyes continued to illegally cross the border and commit crimes on American soil.

This pattern of behavior underscores the urgent need for stronger border security measures that the Trump administration has been implementing since day one.

Morales Reyes will remain in ICE custody at Dodge County Jail in Juneau, Wisconsin, pending his removal proceedings.

Noem calls out dangerous rhetoric against Trump

Secretary Noem didn’t mince words when addressing the broader pattern of threats against President Trump.

“This threat comes not even a year after President Trump was shot in Butler, Pennsylvania and less than two weeks after former FBI Director Comey called for the President’s assassination,” Noem said in her statement.

“All politicians and members of the media should take notice of these repeated attempts on President Trump’s life and tone down their rhetoric,” Noem stated.

The DHS Secretary’s message was clear: the constant drumbeat of hostile rhetoric from Trump’s political opponents creates a dangerous environment.

“I will continue to take all measures necessary to ensure the protection of President Trump,” Noem promised.

Trump administration’s border security pays dividends

This arrest demonstrates how the Trump administration’s enhanced border security and immigration enforcement efforts are working to protect Americans.

Under Secretary Noem’s leadership, ICE officers are able to identify and apprehend dangerous individuals who pose threats to national security.

The swift action taken against Morales Reyes shows that the administration’s focus on removing criminal illegal aliens is making a real difference.

The fact that someone who had been deported multiple times and had an extensive criminal record was still in the country highlights the failures of previous administrations.

But now, with proper enforcement mechanisms in place, these dangerous individuals are being caught and removed.

The arrest also sends a strong message to others who might consider making threats against the President or any American citizens.

Law enforcement is watching, and they will act decisively to protect the country’s leadership and its people.

As the Trump administration continues its crackdown on illegal immigration, cases like this validate the importance of strong borders and interior enforcement.

Every criminal illegal alien arrested and removed makes American communities safer.
