January 6 probe revealed one disturbing fact about the Capitol Police’s weaponization

The FBI's Arctic Frost investigation already exposed how Biden's DOJ targeted Trump and hundreds of Republicans.

Now the January 6 probe revealed something even worse.

And the investigation just uncovered one disturbing fact about the Capitol Police's weaponization.

Democrats Allegedly Turned Capitol Police Into Political Spies

Representative Barry Loudermilk chairs the House Select Subcommittee investigating January 6 security failures.

Loudermilk told Just the News he has evidence Democrats used Capitol Police intelligence operations to spy on their Republican colleagues in Congress.

"There may be some evidence out there that this extended all the way into Congress, that there was investigation and political weaponization against members of Congress that may even have ties with the Select Committee on January 6," Loudermilk revealed.

The Capitol Police intelligence division became an arm of Democrat leadership to gather dirt on Republicans who criticized the official January 6 narrative.

"There's others who have spoken to us about efforts within the political element of Congress, within the Democrat Party, who were actively seeking access to the Capitol Police database and their intelligence, and they were using that intelligence against sitting members of Congress," Loudermilk stated.

Jack Smith's Special Counsel operation issued 197 subpoenas requesting records on Trump allies, conservative think tanks, and Republican officials from Capitol Hill.

Former Capitol Police Chief Warned About Democrat Pressure Before January 6

Former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund told Loudermilk's committee that Democrat leadership pressured him for access to the intelligence unit even before January 6.

"It was an ongoing process where we had people, senior staffers, like from Senator Chuck Schumer's staff that wanted to be involved in intelligence briefing, wanted to have access into the Capitol Police Headquarters, specifically to be able to access into the intelligence unit," Sund explained.

Sund pushed back while he ran the department.

He resigned January 16, 2021, just ten days after the Capitol riot.

"My concern is, what happened after January 6? Did these people then all of a sudden, now get involved? They're now on the intelligence calls, intelligence briefings, things like that. Now, are they using that for any political benefit?" Sund wondered.

Capitol Police Searched Republican Congressman's Office

Representative Troy Nehls experienced the surveillance firsthand.

A Capitol Police officer entered Nehls' office during Thanksgiving break 2021 and photographed his legislative whiteboard containing notes about firearm legislation.

Three plainclothes intelligence officers returned days later and questioned his staff about the whiteboard without the Congressman's permission.

"That is totally outside the realm of anything acceptable here," Loudermilk said.

Nehls filed a $2.5 million lawsuit in 2025 claiming the search violated his Fourth Amendment rights and the Constitution's Speech and Debate Clause.

"I believe that Nancy Pelosi is weaponizing the U.S. Capitol Police to investigate me in order to silence me, intimidate me, and quite honestly destroy me," Nehls stated on Fox News.

Nehls had been one of the most vocal critics of Capitol Police leadership and their handling of January 6.

Capitol Police claimed the officer entered Nehls' office during a routine security sweep because the door was open.

Nehls says the real motive was retaliation for his criticism.

Democrats Weaponized Every Available Tool Against Trump

November 2021 — that's when Capitol Police searched Nehls' office.

The timing wasn't coincidental.

Nehls was pushing hard for accountability on January 6.

And Schumer's staff? They'd been demanding intelligence access even before the riot happened.

Arctic Frost launched in April 2022, about a month after Trump announced his 2024 presidential run.

The Democrat-led January 6 Committee operated alongside FBI investigations targeting Republicans throughout Congress.

Arctic Frost investigators subpoenaed records on communications with Fox News, Newsmax, and other conservative media.

Information on Republican donors and fundraising? They demanded that too.

Trump advisers like Stephen Miller, Dan Scavino, and Jared Kushner were targets.

They obtained phone records of eight Republican senators and Representative Mike Kelly during January 4-7, 2021.

Senator Chuck Grassley called Arctic Frost "arguably worse than Watergate."

FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed there's an ongoing criminal investigation into federal personnel involved in the Arctic Frost probe.

Loudermilk's investigation shows Capitol Police intelligence operations ran parallel to Arctic Frost, feeding Democrats information on their Republican colleagues.

"I think this is just the tip of the iceberg of what may have been happening, not only in the Wray FBI, but under the Pelosi House of Representatives as well," Loudermilk said.

Democrats turned law enforcement and intelligence agencies into opposition research operations against their political opponents.

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi dismantled the intelligence unit that monitors social media threats, then her team demanded access to what remained so they could target Republicans.

The Constitution's separation of powers exists to prevent one branch from using law enforcement to spy on another.

Schumer's staff wanted intelligence briefings before January 6 even happened.

Then after Sund left, Democrats got exactly what they wanted — unfettered access to Capitol Police intelligence on their Republican colleagues.
