Georgia’s hotly contested 2020 Election was the source of endless controversy.
The curtain is finally being pulled back.
And Fulton County admitted to one thing that exposed the 2020 Georgia scandal.
Fulton County admits 315,000 votes were illegally certified in 2020
President Joe Biden carried Georgia by 11,779 votes in the 2020 Election and Democrats narrowly won two Senate seats in the state.
Fulton County finally came clean.
During a December 9 hearing before the Georgia State Election Board, county officials admitted approximately 315,000 early votes were counted and certified without proper legal verification.
"We do not dispute that the tapes were not signed," Ann Brumbaugh, attorney for the Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections, told the Board.¹
That's not a minor clerical error — that's catastrophic.
Georgia law requires poll workers to sign three closing tapes at the end of each voting day to legally certify the reported totals are authentic.
Election integrity activist David Cross filed the original challenge back in March 2022.
He spent $15,800 of his own money on open records requests to expose this mess.
What he found was damning: 134 tabulator tapes representing 315,000 votes with every single signature block left blank.
"Fulton County produced zero signed tabulator tapes in early voting," Cross told the State Election Board.²
The Georgia Secretary of State's Office investigated and "substantiated" that Fulton County violated election record document processes when 36 out of 37 Advanced Voting Precincts failed to sign the required tabulation tapes.³
Officials at 32 polling sites also failed to verify their zero tapes — the tapes showing voting machines started at zero votes.
Without zero tape verification, there's no way to tell if ballots from previous elections or test runs were left on memory cards and counted as real votes.
This exact scenario happened in Montana, where officials discovered more votes than were cast because sample data wasn't cleared.
Wait until you see what else Cross found
The unsigned tapes were just the beginning.
Cross found polling locations with time stamps showing they were open at 2:09 a.m.⁴
Who's voting at two in the morning?
He also discovered scanner serial numbers appearing on multiple machines — meaning someone pulled memory devices from one scanner and printed results on a completely different machine.⁵
"These are not clerical errors. They are catastrophic breaks in chain of custody and certification," Cross explained.⁶
Think about what this means.
Biden won Georgia by 11,779 votes.
Those two Georgia Senate victories — Raphael Warnock defeating Kelly Loeffler and Jon Ossoff beating David Perdue — gave Democrats a 50-50 Senate with Kamala Harris as the tie-breaker.
That Senate control allowed Biden to ram through trillions in spending, pack the federal bureaucracy with radical leftists, and implement his America Last agenda for two full years.
All built on a foundation of 315,000 illegally certified votes in Fulton County alone.
"Because no tape was ever legally certified, Fulton County had no lawful authority to certify its advanced voting results to the secretary of state," Cross said. "Yet it did. And Secretary Raffensperger accepted and folded those uncertified numbers into Georgia's official total without questioning them."⁷
Raffensperger certified results he knew were tainted
Here's the part that should make every conservative's blood boil.
Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger certified those results knowing full well Fulton County had a track record of election problems.
His office investigated in 2024 and confirmed the violations.
Earlier investigations found Fulton County used improper procedures during the 2020 recount, with evidence suggesting over 3,000 ballots were scanned twice.⁸
The State Election Board voted to reprimand Fulton County in May 2024 for these violations.
But Raffensperger certified the 2020 results anyway.
The man who became a media darling for standing up to Trump's phone call turned out to be perfectly fine accepting illegally certified votes from Georgia's most Democrat county.
When The Federalist asked the Georgia Secretary of State's Office who was responsible for accepting Fulton County's tabulator tapes despite zero signatures, they got radio silence.⁹
"This is not partisan. This is statutory. This is the law," Cross told the Board. "When the law demands three signatures on tabulator tapes and the county fails to follow the rules, those 315,000 votes are, by definition, uncertified."¹⁰
Election integrity activist Kevin Moncla, who's been fighting alongside Cross, estimates the actual number of illegally certified votes is likely even higher than 315,000.
Cross is asking the State Election Board to "impose sanctions on Fulton County, have them publicly acknowledge their violations, and for the state to decertify Fulton County's 2020 advanced voting results."¹¹
He wants an "indelible and permanent asterisk on the record" and accountability for what happened.
The Trump Justice Department is now investigating, filing a lawsuit earlier this month against Fulton County Clerk Che Alexander to enforce an October subpoena for all ballots and records from the 2020 election.
Democrats spent four years screaming that questioning election results was an assault on democracy.
They indicted David Shafer — the former Georgia Republican Party Chairman — along with Trump and 17 others in August 2023.
Shafer faced eight criminal counts including Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) charges that carried up to 20 years in prison.
After Fani Willis was disqualified from the case over her corrupt relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade, all charges against Shafer were dismissed in November 2025.¹²
His crime? Organizing a meeting of Republican electors on December 14, 2020 to preserve Trump's legal challenge to election results.
Now Fulton County admits 315,000 votes were illegally certified — exactly what Shafer was trying to expose.
"Fulton County admits the wrongdoing now, five years too late for it to matter," Shafer wrote on X. "But if you bring it up when it matters, they indict you and threaten life in prison to shut you up."¹³
Willis put Shafer through a four-year nightmare for raising questions about illegal vote certification.
Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of votes were counted illegally in the county that delivered Georgia to Biden by fewer than 12,000 votes.
What Democrats and their media allies claimed was a conspiracy theory turned out to be true.
