Democrats Just Handed Trump One Massive Gift With This Epic Legal Blunder

Democrats couldn't control their Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Their scheme to destroy him through the courts looked brilliant at first.

And then Democrats handed Trump one massive gift that will haunt them for decades.

Democrats Sue Trump 530 Times, Create Constitutional Nightmare

Fox News legal analyst Gregg Jarrett couldn't believe what Democrats did to themselves.

"It's a smorgasbord of stupid," Jarrett told "The Evening Edit" host Elizabeth MacDonald. "But the biggest was that Democrats sued Trump over everything, and it boomeranged against them big time."

Here's what happened.

Democrats and their allied groups filed more than 530 lawsuits against Trump in eleven months.

Not normal political opposition.

Coordinated obstruction designed to block the President through friendly judges in five left-wing districts.

The strategy worked at first.

Activist district judges issued nationwide injunctions blocking Trump's policies across the entire country.

Democrats celebrated each court victory like they'd won the Super Bowl.

But then those cases reached the Supreme Court.

"Yeah, they had some early wins, but when they ultimately lost in the higher courts, the rulings had the unintended effect of vastly expanding Trump's presidential powers," Jarrett explained.

Democrats didn't just lose.

They built Trump a constitutional weapon he can use for the rest of his presidency.

Trump Wins 90% at Supreme Court, Gains Historic Powers

The numbers are absolutely devastating for Democrats.

Trump won 90% of his Supreme Court cases in 2025, according to analysis from Court Accountability.¹

Democrats built Trump a constitutional weapon with every loss.

Trump's biggest victory came when the Supreme Court struck down nationwide injunctions in June 2025.

For decades, Democrats ran to friendly district judges who would issue orders blocking Republican presidents' policies across the entire country.

The Supreme Court ended that scam in Trump v. CASA, ruling 6-3 that federal judges lack authority to issue nationwide injunctions.²

"His biggest victory was ending the nationwide injunctions that had tried to block his policies. That's all gone now. They've neutered the district court judges," Jarrett said.

Attorney General Pam Bondi put it perfectly.

"What they're doing to him, to our country is outrageous," Bondi said about activist judges trying to block Trump's waste-cutting efforts. "People work their whole lives and pay taxes, yet they find out that they've been giving $2 million to Guatemala for sex changes, it's outrageous, and it's going to stop."³

The Supreme Court also handed Trump wins on firing Democratic appointees from independent agencies, ending amnesty programs, banning transgenders from the military, terminating DEI funding, and slashing federal workforces.

Jarrett counted 21 Supreme Court wins for Trump with more victories coming.

Every single one thanks to Democrats who couldn't control their hatred long enough to think strategically.

Democrats Hand Future Republican Presidents Unlimited Power

Here's what makes this an all-time political disaster for Democrats.

The Supreme Court essentially granted Trump authority to fire officials at independent agencies that Congress designed to be protected from political interference.

Trump can now remove Federal Trade Commission members, Federal Reserve governors, and other independent agency officials just for policy disagreements.

That overturns 90 years of precedent.⁴

The Supreme Court upheld Trump's ability to deploy federal resources to enforce immigration law, restrict foreign nationals, end temporary protected status programs, and slash the federal workforce without Congressional approval.

Not temporary victories.

Permanent precedents that will empower every Republican president for the next 50 years.

Democrats spent eleven months stripping away tools future Democrat presidents might use while handing Republican presidents unprecedented authority.

Think about the stupidity of that strategy.

Democrats were so obsessed with stopping Trump they handed every future Republican president powers that would have terrified them under Nixon or Reagan.

Trump nailed what happened in the Oval Office.

"We want to weed out corruption," Trump said. "And it seems hard to believe that a judge could say, we don't want you to do that."

Democrats created a system where every lawsuit against Trump became another opportunity for the Supreme Court to expand presidential authority.

Blind hatred of Trump turned their legal assault into a constitutional gift that keeps giving.

When the next Republican president fires every Democrat on the Federal Reserve, terminates thousands of federal bureaucrats, and deploys the National Guard to enforce immigration law over the objections of blue state governors, Democrats can thank themselves.

They built that.
