Joe Biden’s approval numbers have been stuck in the mud.

The Left is getting nervous about his prospects in a rematch with Donald Trump.

And a conservative journalist was hit with one shocking punishment that proved election season is heating up.

The Left always circles the wagons as the Presidential Election heats up.

The media elites use their news outlets to sensationalize stories to take aim at the Right and “paint the target” for other left-wing organizations to mobilize in lockstep.

For example, Twitter and Facebook actively suppressed the Hunter Biden “laptop from hell” story right before the 2020 election after leftist media pushed the intelligence community’s deception that it was a Russian plot.

With the 2024 election around the corner, people on the Right are preparing for similar shenanigans.

Recently, the popular online account Libs of TikTok, which primarily reposts public videos of “woke” leftists in their own words expressing their insane views, got “de-banked” by the payment processing company Stripe.

Financial warfare

Libs of TikTok reported, “Stripe disabled my account. They’re also holding onto my funds and won’t release them. I called and emailed and they aren’t giving me a straight answer. This has been going on for a month. Nobody has been able to subscribe to my newsletter and my funds are frozen…[Elon Musk] you sure you want to partner with Stripe for X payouts?? They will just disable accounts if they don’t like your views. Doesn’t seem aligned with your free speech objectives.”

Conservatives getting “canceled” from banks, payment processors, and even apps like Uber or Airbnb has unfortunately become a common occurrence.

For instance, crowdfunding platform GoFundMe froze the assets of the Canadian trucker convoy that protested the country’s COVID vaccine mandates.

Other conservatives have been barred from GoFundMe campaigns, and even credit card companies have gotten in on the act.

Even former UKIP leader Nigel Farage, who was instrumental in pushing through Brexit, had his bank account closed for political reasons.

For now, mobilizing public pressure still works

Fortunately, Libs of TikTok were able to apply enough public pressure, and Stripe “fixed” the problem.

Libs of TikTok noted that it only “took 30 minutes” after a month of radio silence.

Instances like these are why conservatives have begun building a parallel economy, so it’s harder to censor views for political reasons.

As the 2024 election gets closer, expect more influential right-wing voices to run into similar “glitches.”
