Authoritarian governments and global elites have used one excuse after the next to expand power over the last few years.
Now a potential reckoning has them nervous.
And Bobby Kennedy’s heir shared a bone-chilling announcement that has global elites incensed.
Joe Biden’s biggest current rival for the Democrat Party’s 2024 Presidential nomination has latched onto an issue sure to infuriate elites at the highest levels.
Taking aim at the growing danger of financial censorship, Kennedy pointed out that the need to protect Americans’ control over their finances from big banks and big government is essential.
“The ability to save and spend without political interference is a prerequisite for the exercise of meaningful dissent, and I will defend it accordingly,” Kennedy pointed out on Twitter. “This is not a right- or left-wing issue. It is about protecting democracy from powerful established interests. The digitization of currency has given government unprecedented powers to surveil and control economic life.”
The Presidential hopeful made himself unpopular with the political establishment by speaking out against the oppressive pandemic measures enacted by the Biden regime, blue state governors and their foreign counterparts.

Kennedy cited the unbelievable dictatorial behavior of Canada’s Justin Trudeau in his attempt to shut down Canadian truckers’ Freedom Convoy protests.
In February last year the Canadian Prime Minister led the charge to freeze hundreds of bank accounts in an effort to twist arms and clear Ottawa streets of the peaceful protestors.
Only after the three-week long protest broke up did Canada’s governing authorities lift the heavy-handed financial threat.
Kennedy fears it’s only a matter of time before American citizens face the same kind of threats over expressing political sentiments unpopular with the ruling class.
“It’s not outlandish to imagine that even here in America, your bank account could one day be frozen because of your politics, or comments you’ve made on social media,” Kennedy pointed out.

“After all, in 2010, Paypal, Visa, and Mastercard suspended WikiLeaks, at the behest of the U.S. State Department. GoFundMe blocked U.S. accounts from sending funds to Canadian truckers and planned to donate the money to their own preferred charities instead, backing down only when faced with a lawsuit,” he added. “PayPal modified their acceptable use policy to fine users $2,500 for spreading what they deemed to be misinformation, a change they rescinded under pressure. Nonetheless, thousands of customers are currently suing PayPal for the arbitrary seizure of their accounts.”
The more we learn about government collusion with Big Tech on censorship efforts, the truer Kennedy’s warning rings.
With China as an economic powerhouse implementing a social credit system it seems only a matter of time before those in power in the United States start flexing their own regulatory power to do the same.
