The Democrats know they don’t stand a chance if they let people think for themselves.
So they’re hell-bent on making sure that won’t happen.
Now, Barack Obama is thrilled this bone-chilling scheme just got a new lease on life ahead of the 2022 Midterms.
The Left has been plotting for months to prevent Americans from being armed with real information when they cast their ballots this year.
That’s what their war against so-called “disinformation” and “misinformation” is all about.
Former President Barack Obama announced plans in a speech at Stanford this spring.
Within the month, the Biden government announced the Department of Homeland Security’s Disinformation Governance Board to be headed by clown world left-wing hack Nina Jankowicz.
But that circus may have been designed to do nothing more than throw a tent over their real intentions to bring their Orwellian Ministry of Truth nightmare back to life – namely their Big Tech pals.
No matter who you think actually received the most votes in the 2020 Presidential election, there is no denying social media giants like Facebook and Twitter tilted the playing field in Joe Biden’s direction.
And they want to do the same this year.
If Twitter has anything to say about it, Democrats will keep their majorities in the 2022 Midterms.
In 2020, Twitter blacklisted a Hunter Biden scandal story in the days leading up to the election.
Exit polling shows that had the story received fair coverage, it would have been enough to propel Donald Trump to a second term in the White House.
Meanwhile, Mark Zuckerberg and his Zuckerbucks turned out the vote in heavily Democratic areas, further cementing Biden and the Democrats built in Big Tech advantage.
Now, Twitter has unveiled its plans for the 2022 Midterms, and once again, they are pushing their finger on the scales to help out the Blue Team.
Twitter is now “activating enforcement” of their “Civic Integrity Policy” for the 2022 US Midterms.
Company officials say the new policies are being put in place to keep the 2022 Midterm elections “safe.”
According to Twitter, their Civic Integrity Policy “covers the most common types of harmful misleading information about elections and civic events,” which include: false claims about how and where to vote, voter intimidation, and “misleading claims intended to undermine public confidence in an election,” which includes “false information about the outcome of the election.”
Are they referring to wild 2016 claims Hillary Clinton won the election and Trump was an illegitimate President?
Or, perhaps the insane theories in 2018 claiming far-Left Democrat Stacey Abrams defeated Brian Kemp in Georgia and was the rightful Governor?
Most likely not.
The new policy dictates Twitter mods “not recommend or amplify content,” and provide a “prompt prior to liking or sharing labeled tweets” for any post they deem could fall under the “harmful misleading information” category.
And for tweets they find especially offensive, they will make it so the post can’t be liked or shared to “prevent the spread of the misleading information.”
Additionally Twitter plans to boost information mods at their own discretion to determine, “accurate.”
There will also be “state-specific” information.
That way, Twitter can push the content they deem “accurate” to targeted users based on location.
Posts from “state election officials” and “local news outlets and journalists” will also be given extra weight.
Further entangling Big Tech and Big Media’s one-party monopoly over election information, Twitter will feature a “dedicated explore tab,” containing news by “reputable news outlets, curated by Twitter’s curation team.”
However, it is unlikely news from conservative and independent outlets – or even the nation’s oldest newspaper for that matter – will make the cut in the eyes of the Twitter mods.
After all, look what happened to The New York Post’s Hunter Biden laptop from hell story in 2020.
And of course, they will not have to report any of this as an in-kind contribution to their Democrat candidate pals.
