Anthony Fauci got some bad news after a highway crash exposed one dirty secret about taxpayer money

The American people just discovered where their tax dollars have been going.

A truck crash in Mississippi revealed the ugly truth.

And Anthony Fauci got some bad news after this highway crash exposed one dirty secret about taxpayer money.

Taxpayer-funded laboratory exposed after Mississippi monkey crash

A routine truck crash on Interstate 59 in Mississippi has blown the lid off a multi-million dollar scandal involving Anthony Fauci's former agency.

The crash occurred when a truck carrying 21 Rhesus monkeys overturned near Heidelberg, Mississippi, sending six of the primates fleeing into the surrounding countryside.¹

What authorities discovered next should have every American taxpayer furious.

The monkeys were traveling from Tulane National Biomedical Research Center, a laboratory that has received massive grants from the National Institutes of Health under Fauci's direction.²

Five of the escaped monkeys were shot and killed by law enforcement, while three remained on the loose.³

The truck driver initially told deputies the monkeys carried COVID-19, hepatitis C, and herpes, though Tulane later disputed those claims.⁴

But the real scandal isn't what diseases these monkeys may or may not have carried.

It's how much taxpayer money Fauci has been funneling to this laboratory for decades.

Fauci's multi-million dollar monkey business exposed

The White Coat Waste Project, a government watchdog organization, immediately connected the dots between the crashed monkeys and federal funding.

"White Coat Waste has been exposing and working to cut taxpayer funding for Tulane's primate lab for years," said Justin Goodman, the group's Senior Vice President.⁵

The numbers are staggering.

Under Fauci's National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the agency awarded multi-million dollar grants to the Tulane facility over the years.⁶

The laboratory received a $2.8 million grant as recently as August 2025 for "Resources and Workforce Development for the Tulane Regional Biocontainment Laboratory."⁷

That brings the total NIH funding flowing to Tulane to approximately $35 million per year, according to White Coat Waste investigators.⁸

But here's what your tax dollars are actually buying.

The facility houses nearly 6,000 monkeys that are "isolated in tiny cages and infected with some of the deadliest pathogens on earth—like anthrax, botulism, monkeypox, COVID, and AIDS-like viruses."⁹

Video from the crash scene shows wooden crates labeled "live animals" crumpled and strewn across the interstate, with monkeys crawling through tall grass trying to escape their transport prison.¹⁰

Tulane describes the program as "one of the nation's longest-running National Institutes of Health-funded research programs."¹¹

What they don't advertise is the decades of controversy surrounding their experiments.

In recent years, investigators uncovered that human nipples were allegedly sewn onto male monkeys in taxpayer-funded experiments at the facility.¹²

But taxpayers deserve to know what they're getting for their money besides dead monkeys on Mississippi highways and grotesque experiments that would make Dr. Frankenstein blush.

Trump Administration allies demand immediate action

The highway crash has energized Trump Administration allies who have been fighting Fauci's wasteful animal experiments for years.

This isn't Fauci's first rodeo with controversial animal experiments.

White Coat Waste filed a federal complaint in 2021 over Tulane's failure to properly disclose Fauci's funding for COVID experiments on monkeys, in violation of federal law.¹³

The organization successfully exposed Fauci's funding of cruel experiments that drugged beagle puppies and locked their heads in cages filled with hungry, infected sand flies.¹⁴

Those experiments cost taxpayers $375,800 and included cutting the vocal cords out of puppies so they couldn't bark while being tortured.¹⁵

Representative Nancy Mace led Congressional efforts to stop Fauci's "cruel" and "reprehensible misuse of taxpayer funds" on animal experiments.¹⁶

The pattern is clear: Fauci has spent decades using your tax dollars to fund experiments that would make serial killers proud.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has made ending wasteful animal testing a key component of his Make America Healthy Again agenda.¹⁷

Kennedy announced that NIH would prioritize human-based research technologies to reduce animal experiments.¹⁸

"The solution to Bhattacharya-Kleinstreuer waste is simple: Stop the money. Stop the madness," said White Coat Waste founder Anthony Bellotti.¹⁹

The Trump Administration has already ended several Fauci-era animal experiments, including cruel tests on baby monkeys at Harvard University.²⁰

But the Mississippi crash proves Fauci's legacy of wasteful spending on animal torture is still alive and well at laboratories across the country.

Here's what makes this even more infuriating: while Fauci was spending millions torturing animals, he was telling Americans they couldn't visit dying relatives during COVID lockdowns.

The same man who locked down the entire country was simultaneously locking monkeys in cages and drugging puppies with your money.

That's not science — that's sadism funded by hardworking American taxpayers.

This highway accident just became a highway to accountability for Anthony Fauci's decades of wasting taxpayer dollars on his sick experiments.

The American people deserve every penny of that $35 million returned, and every official who enabled this grotesque waste fired immediately.
