California has gone from being a sanctuary state to something far more dangerous.
Democrats there have declared war on immigration enforcement.
And an Obama judge just gave the green light to attack ICE with this sick ruling.
California jury acquits man who stole ICE vehicle during arrest
A South Los Angeles man walked free after stealing a government vehicle from ICE agents during an arrest operation.
Federal prosecutors charged him after he towed an immigration agent's vehicle while officers struggled to arrest a TikTok influencer in downtown Los Angeles.
Authorities alleged the man pressed the passenger door of the influencer's vehicle against a law enforcement officer during the confrontation.
Officers threatened to arrest him. He swore at them and warned "something was going to happen" to them.
The jury simply decided not to convict him.
But things just got worse.
Obama judge throws out assault charges against illegal alien who rammed ICE vehicles
U.S. District Judge Fernando M. Olguin dismissed assault charges against TikTok streamer Carlitos Ricardo Parias just days before trial.
Federal authorities accused Parias of ramming his car into ICE agents' vehicles after they boxed him in during an October enforcement operation.
An ICE officer opened fire, striking Parias in the arm. A ricochet bullet injured a deputy U.S. marshal.
Prosecutors charged Parias with assault on a federal officer the same day. A grand jury indicted him in November.
Judge Olguin dismissed the indictment with prejudice in a 28-page order. Prosecutors cannot refile the charges.
The Obama appointee cited supposed constitutional violations—including Parias' access to counsel while in ICE detention and the government's failure to meet discovery deadlines.
Parias isn't some random illegal alien. He's well connected with local California Democrats.
Los Angeles Councilmember Curren D. Price Jr.'s office recognized Parias before his arrest for his social media reporting on ICE operations.
A city official gave an illegal alien recognition for obstructing federal immigration enforcement.
Democrats turned ICE agents into targets during coordinated Los Angeles confrontations
This cooperation between illegal alien activists and California Democrats has led to violent confrontations during ICE operations across Los Angeles.
Mobs surrounded federal agents during enforcement operations. They blocked vehicles. They assaulted officers.
California Democrats learned nothing. The violence continues through confrontations like the Parias case.
Judge Olguin has form on protecting the radical Left. He previously threw out a lawsuit by Jewish parents over antisemitic ethnic studies materials in classrooms.
The pattern couldn't be clearer. Obama judges and California Democrats are providing legal cover for violence against federal law enforcement.
California treats ICE agents like the criminals
California's Democrat establishment treats assaults on ICE like protected political speech.
An illegal alien rams federal vehicles and shoots at officers? Obama judge says walk free. The guy who helped steal an ICE car? Jury says no problem.
Meanwhile, city officials recognize illegal aliens who obstruct federal operations.
Federal law enforcement officers cannot do their jobs when local officials celebrate those who attack them and Obama judges dismiss charges no matter how clear the evidence.
The sanctuary state has become a bastion of insurrection.
California Democrats aren't just refusing to cooperate with immigration enforcement. They're actively protecting—and rewarding—those who commit violence against federal agents.
Trump won a mandate to secure the border and enforce immigration law.
But he can't do it when Obama judges legalize ramming ICE vehicles and Democrat officials treat illegal aliens who attack federal agents like heroes.
California Democrats are sending a message: attack ICE and we'll protect you. Ram their vehicles? We've got your back. Steal their cars? No consequences. Shoot at them? An Obama judge will make sure you walk free.
That's not sanctuary policy. That's open season on federal law enforcement. And it has to be treated like the constitutional crisis it is.
