The swamp has been working overtime to block President Trump’s nominees.
But one Trump fighter decided she’d had enough of the games.
And Alina Habba took the gloves off and named three senators who left Trump’s agenda dead in their tracks.
Habba declares war on the RINO blocking Trump
Alina Habba appeared on Fox News’ Hannity with a message the Washington establishment didn’t want to hear.
She was done playing nice.
Trump’s pick for U.S. Attorney in New Jersey decided it was time to call out the RINO who’s been stabbing Trump in the back.
Sure, she mentioned the predictable Democrat obstructionists first.
"Number one, I was the nominee to become the U.S. Attorney, and [Democrat New Jersey Sens.] Cory Booker and Andy Kim, who I have never to this day spoken to in my life, despite my attempts to meet them, have truly, truly done us a disservice," Habba told Sean Hannity.¹
But then came the real bombshell.
Habba went straight for the throat of the Republican who’s been helping Democrats block Trump’s agenda.
"And frankly, same with [Republican Iowa] Senator [Chuck] Grassley," she added.²
Think about that for a moment.
Chuck Grassley – supposedly one of the senior Republicans in the Senate – is actively working to block Trump’s nominees from even getting a vote.
This is exactly the kind of betrayal that drives Trump supporters up the wall.
The swamp strikes back with judicial warfare
Habba didn’t stop with just calling out Grassley’s betrayal.
She pulled back the curtain on exactly how the judicial resistance is coordinated against Trump.
"It goes to the judges. Seventeen federal judges in the state of New Jersey, 15 of which are Obama- and Biden-appointed, that just like, frankly, we saw with Tish James, tried to use their seat for political motivation," Habba explained.³
And you know what? The numbers tell the whole story.
Fifteen out of seventeen federal judges appointed by Democrat presidents are now trying to use their positions to block Trump’s agenda.
That’s not justice – that’s political warfare using the courts.
An Obama-appointed federal judge ruled that Habba was "unlawfully" appointed as acting U.S. Attorney, despite Attorney General Pam Bondi’s clear authority to make the appointment.
The timing isn’t coincidental either.
This judicial interference comes right as Trump is trying to clean house and install people who will actually enforce the law instead of covering for the previous administration’s mistakes.
Habba promises to keep fighting
Here’s what separates Trump’s team from the typical Washington crowd.
They don’t back down when the swamp fights back.
"I am the pick of the President. I am the pick of Pam Bondi, our Attorney General, and I will serve this country like I have for the last several years in any capacity," Habba declared.⁴
She’s not intimidated by activist judges or obstructionist senators.
"You might try and change my title. You might try and fight me. But just like today with New York, we will win. We always do. It just takes time," she continued.⁵
And that’s exactly the kind of fighter Trump needs in these positions.
Attorney General Bondi backed up her nominee immediately, taking to X to announce the Department of Justice "will immediately appeal" the judge’s ruling.
"@USAttyHabba is doing incredible work in New Jersey — and we will protect her position from activist judicial attacks," Bondi wrote.⁶
Grassley’s betrayal exposed
Look at what’s really happening here.
Democrat senators are using an informal "blue slip" tradition – not even an actual law – to block Trump nominees from getting confirmation votes.
Grassley, who should be fighting for Republican priorities, is helping them do it.
This is the definition of a RINO – a Republican who campaigns on conservative principles but governs like a Democrat when it actually matters.
"By holding up a traditional blue slip, not a law, and not allowing a lot of the president’s picks to go through and be voted on by the Senate, I didn’t even get to that point," Habba explained.⁷
Then when Trump finds legal workarounds to get his people in place, Obama and Biden-appointed judges step in to overturn those appointments on technical grounds.
It’s a coordinated resistance operation designed to prevent Trump from actually governing – with Grassley’s help.
The American people elected Trump to drain the swamp and restore law and order.
But RINOs like Grassley are using every procedural trick they can find to help Democrats stop him.
Habba’s willingness to call out Grassley publicly – instead of playing the usual Washington games – is exactly what Trump needs more of from his team.
No more pretending that Republicans who stab Trump in the back are actually on our side.
The President’s nominees deserve up-or-down votes, and the American people deserve to see their electoral choice actually implemented.
Instead, they’re getting resistance from Democrat senators and the RINOs who enable them.
Grassley should be ashamed of himself for betraying the voters who put Republicans in power to support Trump’s agenda.
Habba’s fight in New Jersey is really a fight for whether Trump will be allowed to govern at all.
And her decision to go to war with Grassley shows she understands that sometimes the biggest threat comes from the Republicans who claim to be on your side.
